So just a few days ago we saw Romi being the perfect devar to Ishita. Then, Toshiji stepped up to the plate and is even going to slap her beloved Raman puttar for her Madrasan bahu. We already know how much Bhalla saahb loves his bahu, and with the exception of Simmi right now (lmao, Rinki being non-existent these days), the whole Bhalla family is on Ishu's side.
And the last unofficial member of the Bhalla family aka Mihir aka Raman ka chamcha but now soon-to-be Ishita's younger jiju is also siding with Ishita during this struggle.
As per spoilers: Mihir confronts Shagun for interfering in Raman's life. Here Ishita comes to office, there is a hit and miss situation between her & Shagun and gets her papers signed. Eventually, Ishita bumps in to Shagun in the lift, the lift gets stuck, Shagun tanuts her that her husband is siding with me and we will win, Ishita tells Shagun she will take the case back if she apologizes but Shagun dismisses it.. The lift door opens, Raman is there, extends his hand for Ishita, Shagun is angry.. Ishita doesn't take his hand, Mihir helps her and tells her he is with her in this battle. Mihir confronts Raman who rudely sends him away, but we see Raman is very upset and hurt.
Though I had hope Mihir would stand with Ishu, I was still doubtful. After all, Raman is literally like a god-like figure to him. When it was the matter of his own life and life partner, Mihir wouldn't go against Raman until literally the last second - thats how strongly he believes in and follows Raman. Assuming Shagun is his blood sister, he broke all relations with his own sister to be with Raman.
And Mihir is a very bhola and straightforward guy. Like he said once, "I stand with whoever is right," and in Shagun-Raman divorce, Raman was in the right. But I can't believe he's so principled that he's going to side with Ishu even though its against his boss/bhai Raman! That is pretty amazing and awe-worthy.
A part of me can't help laughing because Raman would probably be thinking why in hell did he "permit" Mihir to get engaged to Mihika because of course junior Madrasan would make sure Mihir is with her older akka. š
Chalo, at least this is true: the Iyer family hit the lottery with all three of their damaads (Raman, come back!!)
