Is Madhuri's filmography underrated or overrated?

I am surprised noone on this forum acknowledges Madhuri's filmography. She had a stellar track record with movies like Tezaab, Ram Lakhan, Prem Pratigyaa, Tridev, Parinda, Dil,

100 Days, Saajan, Beta, Sangeet, Khal Nayak, Anjaam, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! , Raja, Mrityudand, Dil To Pagal Hai, Pukar, Lajja, Devdas, Dedh Ishqiya, etc. These are just the major ones I have mentioned. But, she has done masala movies, woman-oriented movies, dramas, period movies, comedies, etc. Please share your thoughts. Is Madhuri's filmography underrated or overrated? 😊

anything with nene is OVER RATED

she is a chalti phirti OVER RATED machine

nothing special about her- she is and has been all hype.

She did masala films for the most part. The only good movies she did was Mrityudand, Devdas, Pukar, and Dedh Ishqiya to an extent.

She was popular for being an item girl and every film had a popular song and boy she can dance. She used her strengths. Acting was always weak except for in those movies those mentioned above.

Perhaps Cherryberry will come and make it

better, but I love Madhuri. She is one of my

favorite all-time heroines. 😉

What about Sangeet, Parinda, Saajan, HAHK, etc.??? She did have strong roles in these movies. 😊

awesome...gaurav...but how i wish there were few more off beat movies in her list. but still a great list. she had mix of almost everything there.

she can certainly boast about her filmography...so what it won't top, but she is the biggest star EVER!

I had a good opinion of her and it would have remained if Devdas was her last movie, she was the best thing of the film there. Stole the show despite a small role.

But then she had to comeback and ruin every nice thing about her. Doing item songs and disaster movies +_+

I did find her Ishqiya decent. But she was nowhere near Vidya's awesomeness.

Did you see Sangeet? She was awesome in that movie, very underrated. Or Khel? She did have a wide range. She was called the female Amitabh Bachchan of her time and with good reason! 😊

Opinions differ. 😊 She did some terrible acting in a lot of movies.

So funny she is compared to a great like Sridevi just because she nudged her from the top position. 😆

brutally honest say here: i wanted her to make a comeback, but not with aaja nachle or ishqiyas. even during her prime ..she never picked great scripts. but yet she gave all even in her bad movies. movie raja was her big hit. just like vidyas kahaani. imagine she gave a hit with a newcomer sanjay kapoor.

as for her doing these reality dance shows on tv...tht too needs qualifications😆...i hope they don't put kareena as a judge for a dance show one day, or kat as a judge for actor ...

🤣

ohhh damn...they don't even have skills to sit on reality shows...

but then...what the hell is motto sajid doing on tv...
