I really wanted to what are the differences between the two
Custody is about two children suffering because their parents get separate 😉
So my question is to who ever read book please tell me does Shagun goes back to Raman 😲😡
and I really wanted to know the climax of custody because at the moment Ishita and Raman's relationship is in danger because of Shagun and Aditya 😡🤬 And many are even guessing that Ishita and Raman May get separate since it's Ekta Kapoor's show 🤬 So please is there any one who can answer my question I'm really concerned for Ishita and Raman's relationship !!!!!! 😭

In custody the novel ends when Raman gets ruhis custody and shagun gets adis. Yhm starts where custody ends. No shagun never goes back to raman. She and ashok love each other, they are not villains in custody like they are in yhm. Its all ekta's doing. Infact shagun is guilty of cheating on raman. While ishita manipulates ruhi so there are many differemces in both n there is no punjabi tamil drama either. Ishra fall in love then marry.

Absolutely right.

People saying that YHM is inspired on the novel are only partially right because the show starts where the novel ends. All that is going on right now it's all Ekta and her team, there no more reference taken from the book.

Ishita is not as mahan in the book as she is in the story, at one point (and i was really surprised) she blackmail raman saying that she will take her life if he doesn't do what she says. And she hates Adi to the core and whenever adi comes for a visit, she takes ruhi and leave so that he can't see his sister (she is part right in it though, because adi try to make ruhi hate ishita).

Also Ashok really loves shagun in the book and shagun doesn't think once about going back to raman.

YHM is better in a way that there is so much more than the custody track.
And i love the diversity of characters and interaction on the show.

the book is really short and you get to know very little about the character. It's mostly a narration of events :
-ashok fell in love with shagun
-shagun left raman
-raman didn't want to give her the custody of the child
-because the affair became a scandal : ashok and shagun left with adi abroad
-raman's mother and ishita's mother made them two meet and they got married (very little romance, only a few sex scenes)
-ishita and raman fights some times because ishita hates adi but raman wants to stay close to his son.
-Final court case for custody happen : ishita tells ruhi to tell the judge that she wants to stay with ishita. Ruhi does it. Judge says "adi is old enough to stay with whom he wants, ruhi will stay with ishita."
-End of the book, Ishita is happy.

I also want to add that is the book, even the relation between ishita and ruhi is not as good as the show : in the book, ruhi is too young to properly remember her mother, that's why she gets attached to ishita. But their bond doesn't seem as strong as it is on the show. I feel like any other woman than ishita could have taken care of ruhi in the book. Ruhi hasn't much of a personnality, she's just a quiet kid.
