Better not to compare working women professional ethics with working TV bahu professionalism 😆😆 I'm not surprised cvs actually made small family function more important because end of the day for them trps and drama matters not any work professionalism.

And they are killing Sandy's character which used to be very strong this is not the Sandhya I loved very much 😭 Where is that bold and strong Sandy who carried buckets & buckets of water when she is not wrong 😭 Where is that Sandy who warned bhabho not to cross rishton ki maryada 👏

I I have no much hope in this track. I will stop it here 😆 Sorry for going little out of topic 😳

After watching this serial ever since Sandya started her working, I feel sorry for myself as I miss so many family functions an din some occasions I will not even be able to stay with my daughter when she needs me the more like sickness and all. I keep everything ready for her (food, medicine etc.) and attend my work. Though it is 8.30am to 6.00 pm job, never we can leave our office at the scheduled time and if we by chance plan to leave by 6pm, people will ask what news, leaving early, kind of questions. Even at midnight, if we get a call from oversea customers, with out making any grumbling noise, we attend them politely and only after giving them the necessary information, we tend to tell them, Ok let me get back to my sleep as I need to reach office in time. There are occasions where we will have to work even on Saturdays & Sundays
When my sister in law gave birth to a baby, I could visit them only after a week as we had Sales meet scheduled and had to complete presentations.
Here Sandya, being an IPS officer feels visiting her sister in law who gave the info of her pregnancy is more important than her teams effort and she feels her Bhabo's honor is more important than the Police Department which she made fool off. I know we need to respect the family and even I have lived in joint family with parent in laws and brother in laws and their family. And even I have ensured my presence in the family functions but used to prepare everything before leaving fro my work or come home in the evening and join them with due apology. Yes initially family used to grumble but later they got used to it and they started praising for my duel role of a DIL and a working woman.

Exactly Jaya. Seeing Sandhya I also think how many family functions I have missed before marriage and after marriage.
Still remember way back in 2007 I had offered to take my cousins who had come for a vacation to TVM for a movie on 15th Aug. They were excited.
And on that day morning I was asked to come to office. Had no option. Did break the heart of little ones as they were waiting their didi is gonna take them for a movie. U know since I was the only one working in my generation at that time me taking my cousins for lunch/dinner movie etc was big deal for young ones.
Also how many times I had to tell my MIL cant attend some marraiges and all as I do not have leaves. Now she herself tells if any function is on a working day. My DIL cant come. If it is Sunday she will come.
Nobody grumbles these days but appreciate that I am able to manage both.

That's true with me as well. Normally if is in moms place or any od my sisters or even from hubby's side (his brothers and cousins) they will try to arrange functions and pooja on Sundays so that even we can attend and even the distant relatives are used to my schedule nw, so while inviting only, if there is some function on week days, they will ask me to visit them in the venings as they know I can't take off.
Moreover they will feel bad as I have to attend calls in between some gathering, if by chance I go there on Scheduled time. So they straight away ask me to join the family later once I am through with my work. BUt it is not that we do not attend any functions at all, we do but not when things are critical at office.
