I can't hate Aditya because he's a child. Yes, he's bratty, brash, spoiled, disrespectful and may have almost killed someone due to his childishness, but he's broken mentally.

His parents suffered through a horrid divorce, fraught with allegations of abuse, violence, and cheating. His mother filled him with poison about his father so much so that he accepted his mother's boyfriend as his dad. He was shipped off to boarding school for around 5-6 years. His mother and "stepfather" don't have time for him, instead substituting flattery and money for actual time and love. He hates his dad and hates his stepmother, thinking how dare can his father move on after treating his mother so badly (in his mind). And I think he feels betrayed by Ruhi that his sister could forget their mother so easily and make Ishu her mother; as well as betrayal by Raman for marrying someone else.

I'm not saying he's a great kid, but the responsibility for Adi's personality and misconceptions lie on Shagun's shoulders (and Ashok).

I almost clicked "Other" for Ashok but yesterday and today made me feel bad for him (yes, hell hath indeed frozen over!). In the beginning I thought only Ashok was out and out villain while Shagun had shades of grey, but now...Ashok is showing more shades of grey than Shagun! I think while he wants to show Raman down and crush him at every opportunity, he doesn't want Shagun to leave him for Raman, who is now obviously more goodlooking and rich than he was 6 years back. Even though Ashok has no respect for Shagun, I think he can't bear to think about his "trophy" leaving him to go back to a man he once was the boss for (and I concur with lambu on this one, I can't bear that thought either).

Bottom line: Ashok needs to put a ring on it immediately!

so true completely agree ...basically they all are messed now shagun wants to go to raman ...lambu dont want to loose shagun ...the only character i feel pity for is ishita
