HI all

Ever since the Param fiasco, Ishita's character seems to be getting some depth. Divyanka has been nailing EVERY scene she's in. Notwithstanding the current track, it must be said that the acting from everyone has been excellent.

I know we have all been saying this, and applauding both the leads (and in fact the supporting cast too), but I felt like repeating my thoughts today.

Divyanka tugged at my heart-strings today. I know we are all supposed to feel sad for Ishita, but with the way Divyanka enacted Ishita today, I "identified" with Ishita. Each of the following scenes made an impact on me today:

- The way she wiped her tear when Ruhi asked her innocently about requesting God for a brother>> Ishita's helpnessness and sadness was so evident, you cant but help feel for women going through such scenarios in real life. Divyanka nailed it!

- The mirror scene in the bathroom, when she kept on repeating "kya faayda" >> if there was ever a perfect depiction of heart-break, this was it!

- The way she tried folding that saree when she comes out of the bathroom >> we often pick meaningless tasks to distract us from deeper pain. and we get frustrated when we are not able to complete them, because the pain overrules the motions of our body. And the frustration was so effectively portrayed by Divyanka

- The way she confronted Raman with her questions about Adi and then walked off >> I think this was the first time we saw Ishita really losing control over her thoughts and action. It was warranted as well, but I could have never imagined Divyanka (who comes across as a very calm person) to show these extreme emotions! This was REAL.

- And finally, when a girl (I am deliberately using the word girl and not woman) is in pain, and needs her mother the most, she lashed out at her mom for not being there >> This may be one of the most natural things we all do. That was in fact, one of the rare occassions, I have been so choked while watching this show.

Hats off to you Divyanka! We are lucky to see you portray Ishita.

I completely agree with each n every word of ur post!!!! 👍🏼
This girl has nailed each n every scene in today's episode with so much of perfection!! Especially the saree folding scene where she was so overwhelmed with her grief/pain that she was shivering while delivering those dialogues of hers...Doesn't this happen to most of us when we are deeply drawn in our emotion...

Again the door banging scene was superb!!!!!!

Today Divyanka was the star of the show for me, although I know Karan is a great actor, he fell short in front of Divyanka today. Even now after watching the episode I'm only remembering all the Divyanka scenes. Especially the ones where she cries in the bathroom, where she's trying to fold her sari and the best one - the last scene in which she's literally banging on her mother's door. That brought tears to my eyes, I could actually feel for her and as you said 'identify' with her. It was a great episode only because of Divyanka. Otherwise, the rest of the scenes were so intolerable that I had the urge to pick up my remote and smash Raman's face. How inconsiderate was he in telling Ishita about the picnic. Instead of apologising, he was requesting her to convince Ruhi.
And from this episode it is clear that Ishita's love for Ruhi is stronger than her love for any other relation, she's most scared about losing Ruhi and that's what is happening. Raman is 'taking' Ruhi away from her and practically giving her to Shagun. He didn't even ask Ishita's permission to take Ruhi, even though she is Ruhi's mother!

You guys have told about everything... Till now i was in awe of Karan and little Ruhanika's acting only... Today DT proved me wrong and I'm very happy about it..

This girl is very good in comic timing and voice modulation and phenomenal in emotional scenes...😳

Very few actresses make me cry.. I think after Sakshi Tanwar, Divs is the one who has made me cry.. Whatta performance today.. Very sure that all the women would have cried along with Ishita today... Beyond brilliant.. No words at all.. DT.. Take a bow lady.. 👏

Thanks for the post...🤗

awesome analysis on ishita in todays episode. Yup i agreed. today Ishita was so confident infront of ashok abt Raman that i was just stunned. yup we know how much tough for ishita to believe Raman after observing him with shagun. but still she was trying to support her husband not that disgusting ashok khanna,.

Mirror scene was simply amazing. Hats off to this lady. whn she said- kya faida in a very sad tone - then it just touched my heart. yes she was totally heart broken

- The way she tried folding that saree when she comes out of the bathroom >> we often pick meaningless tasks to distract us from deeper pain. and we get frustrated when we are not able to complete them, because the pain overrules the motions of our body. And the frustration was so effectively portrayed by Divyanka

This was the the most heart wrenching part in todays episode. She made me cry by her brilliant acting.

Hats off to you Divyanka! We are lucky to see you portray Ishita

Love u Divz. Keep rocking
