Geet was in her room trying to sleep but sleep was far away from her eyes. Though she did not sleep well for last two nights yet she was not feeling sleepy. Her mind went back to remember the incidents which happened in last two days..
Her life had taken a very deep turn in those two days. Her intentionally losing to Maan in swimming competition, Rahul's talks about love..and her realization about her feelings and then the fight with her innerself over that issue..Maan's reply to her questions..all were very confusing
..but then she remembered how the black clouds of confusion cleared away from her heart after performing the puja with maan when she realized that it was her right only to feel for her husband.God had fixed that relation..that moment she knew that nothing was wrong in all that.
While thinking all this ,her mind went on the incidents which happened today after coming home.
The way Maan comforted her by pecking on her head and the way he was sad while he was leaving, made geet forced to think. Then she remembered when Arpita was alive and Maan went on his foreign trip.That time he was not sad at all like he was now and Arpita too was not feeling low. She spent happily her time at her parent's home. She never told her that she was missing Maan that time..
Geet was now thinking all this from a new perspective..Should she take it in some other way? Did she have the right to think that maan was changed towards her or she was thinking like that as her own feelings were changed for Maan..and she came on the conclusion after lot of thinking that maan was always like this she has changed her own view to see the things. She said to herself-Yes Geet..You are changed not Maan..Maan was always caring for you..
but this time her inner self again popped out-Then why he was sad?
Geet-I think he was sad because I was crying..kisi ko rota dekhkar to kisi ko bhi bura lagega na.she scolder her inner self-and you .. Just shut your mouth up...dare to confuse me again..
Innerself-OK..as you wish..But Geet ..just think for once..
Geet-what?
Inner self-what if Maan too loves you? How will you feel then?
Geet-You know na what he said two days before when I asked him about love? He told me that he did not know anything about love
Innerself- Still I want to know..Just imagine...how will you feel if you know that he too loves you..and I think chances are here for that to happen.
Geet smiled to hear that-Is it possible?
Innerself-it's not even impossible too Geet..
And Geet's heart skipped a beat with that mare thought of Maan and thought -kya aisa ho sakta hai?
Inner self-You never know Geet ...what will happen next moment
Geet looked at the clock
It was 11:30 at night
.Geet-I think Maan must have reached the airport..Should I call him.? If he boards in to the flight then I will not be able to hear his voice soon..he will reach there tomorrow and will be busy in work.
Innerself again popped out-Why not Geet?..You have every right to call him..
Geet-What if he asks me the reason to call.? What would I say?
Inneself-You don't need any explanation. You are his wife. Come on show your authority on him.
Geet heart started to beat fast..She dialed Maan's no and instantly cut because she was feeling nervous to call him. It was not like that she never called him on phone but this time she was feeling some different emotions running in her heart for Maan ..

Here at Airport Ram had returned after dropping Maan. .soon his PA too joined him..They were waiting in the lounge for the declaration of the flight. They got their boarding passes and now were waiting for the announcement. Maan was feeling little restless. He wanted to hear the voice of Geet before leaving because after boarding he would not be able to talk to her till next day. But he looked at the watch and thought-No Maan..Not now..she must be sleeping now. It's very late..he convinced his heart-only 24hrs Maan after that you can call her and he suppressed his desire to talk Geet. He was going to put his phone back in to his pocket and he gave a last look to the screen of the phone...
Geet's image was there as the wallpaper of the screen. He had changed his screen's wallpaper with Geet's picture after reaching the airport. Geet was looking with some fake anger in that picture. Before he could put the phone back in his pocket it rang and call was cut after one ring. He looked at screen The Missed call was from Geet..His heart skipped a beat to see her name on the screen.
Maan to himself-Maan she too wants to talk to you..the sadness for going to USA leaving her behind took a back seat and excitement took it's place. He moved little away from his PA and called her back.
Geet was staring at screen after she cut the call and it rang back.. it was showing Maan's name. She got nervous-What will I say that why I called and then cut the call? .
Phone was ringing continuously and she picked up the call-Hello
Maan heard her voice and felt just a wave of joy passing through his whole body.
Maan-Geet you Called me?
Geet-ha,,haan wo galti se lag gaya.
Maan smiled hearing her excuse-Geet you don't need to give excuses..You can call me anytime..BTW you did not sleep till now?..It's very late
Geet.-wo haan neend nahin aa rahi.. when is your flight going to take off?
Maan-bas thodi der me..I m waiting for the announcement to board the flight. Boarding pass is in my hand
Geet-Hmm
Maan was about to say something but there was announcement to board the flight..
Maan-Did you want to say something.?
Geet-No..bas aise hi call kiya.. I wanted to know if you reached airport or not.
Maan-Hmm..By the way thanks for calling.I was getting bore here while waiting for the flight( he could not tell her that he too wanted to hear her voice )
And then second announcement was heard.PA came and coughed to get attention of Maan
Maan-Geet.. I m leaving..and you sleep it's already late..
Geet-Ok Maan. Have a safe journey..
Maan-Thanks and Good night Geet
Geet-Good night..
Both did not cut the call as they did not want to cut first and were waiting for other to cut. Finally Maan had to cut as there was another announcement for him as he was the last one to move. He took a deep sigh and cut the phone bidding a bye again to Geet.
He stared at the screen for few moments and kissed on Geet's lips in the picture saying - Love you Sweetheart..
Geet too was staring at the screen. She too kissed it and blushed at her own action after kissing the screen and hid her face in the pillow feeling shy as If Maan was watching her.
While thinking about Maan Geet did not know when she slept.

It was Morning and Geet opened her eyes. She found herself lying in a very awkward position. Her one leg and one hand was hanging out of the bed..This was the first time she was sleeping alone on bed after shifting in Maan's room. First she used to sleep on the couch and after sharing the bed with Maan she always found herself hugging him... she was again forced to think about this as she always slept in these weird styles. Be it before marriage and after her marriage with Yash but never found herself in the position like she slept with Maan.her Mom and yash always asked her to sleep properly but Maan never said a word to her about her sleeping.Taking a deep sigh she woke up
She was feeling some emptiness in the room..She entered in to the washroom to get ready as she was going FH after so many days.
She got ready and came down. She helped priya and Suresh to serve the breakfast.
Priya asked Geet to bring some gifts for the daughter of Suresh and Geet nodded her head.After having breakfast Ram and Geet left for the FH.
She was joining FH after so many days as she came only once after her ankle was twist that too only for some time.so heavy work was waiting for her. She asked Rohit and pinky everything about the new orders and after getting the info she got busy in work and she forgot about everything even her missing feelings for Maan too.
It was lunch time and Pinki reminded her about lunch. And she remembered that it was time for lunch. She reached to Ram's cabin ..Looked inside and said to Ram-papa I m just coming. and she moved towards Maan's cabin, Ram tried to call her back saying that Maan was not there but Geet was not there to listen and Ram smiled-sunti hi nahin hai..
Geet entered In to Maan's cabin saying - Maan..aap abhi tak kaam...and her words stopped in her mouth. Cabin was empty. Table of Maan was clean and his laptop too was not there, then it stuck her mind that Maan was not there..
Geet scolded herself-Geet you forgot that Maan is not here. .slapping herself in her mind she came back to Ram's cabin
Ram looked at her and asked-where did you go? Geet did not reply but lowered her eyes.
Ram-You went to call Maan?
Geet was little embarrassed-wo..h..haan .actually I forgot that he is not here.
Ram was little happy to see Geet as his experienced eyes could see a shyness behind her sentence and in her eyes too. For a friend one can never feel like this...shyness can be shown only for your partner whom you feel not for a friend whom you trust..For a friend you can easily make a fun of yourself at this behavior instead of feeling shy..
Ram did not say a word again and asked her to serve the food and again Geet gave Ram another reason to smile.. she unknowingly set the table for three as she always did
Ram again smiled and looked at her. Geet saw him staring and got confused. She found him looking at the food table. She too looked there and again got embarrassed. She quickly murmured a sorry to him and removed the extra plate from there.
Ram-it's ok ..Geet..
And both had their lunch ..while taking Lunch geet eyes were glancing at the wall clock...Ram saw her doing that and said-Geet.he will call after reaching there...Flight will take time..abhi nahin pahuncha hoga wo
And geet felt like she was caught red handed...she got up from there on the pretext of calling the office boy to clear the table.Ram smiled and said-paagal hai..

Maan reached the destination city
He was feeling tired. ..
So asked the cab driver to take them to the Hotel. They reached there and after checking in ..they went to their respective rooms. Maan thought to call home after taking the bath so he entered the washroom to get freshened,
As he stepped out of the washroom he heard the knock on the door. His PA was there . He informed that Client was waiting for them..so Maan hurriedly got ready and left with PA to meet client. On the way they discussed the points to be discussed at the meeting so he could not call home or Geet ..
They reached the office of the client and they started the meeting.
After introductions and some formal chat the client asked Maan for the presentation..Maan started the presentation..

It was going to be evening in India. Geet was in FH but she was little restless. She was waiting for Maan to call but he did not.
Geet's eyes again and again were looking at the watch..after being unable to wait she called Ram and asked if Maan called and Ram said-Geet.. don't worry beta ,..he will call for sure.when we are on foreign trip a our full time is spent in work there. may be there was some urgency of the work..he will call when he will be free from work.
Geet-Hmm...ok papa
She waited for some more time and it was the limit..she could not hold herself more and called on maan's phone..

Maan was giving his presentation. He had given his phone to PA so that he could not be disturbed by any call..His Phone rang and PA saw that it was Geet. He got up from his place and received the call.Geet-Hello Maan ..did you reach there safely? You did not call..I was so..
But her voice was cut by the PA-Geet ma'am..I m Roshan..
And Geet heard his voice and said-Oh I m sorry..Maan kahaan hai..is he alright?
Roshan-Yes maam ..he is fine ..actually client called us urgently just after we reached...so he could not call ..
Geet-It's ok..please tell him to call.
Roshan-Ji maam.. and Geet cut the call.
Maan looked at Roshan and he nodded his head indicating him that everything is fine..

It was evening and time to returne back to home. Geet asked Ram to buy some gifts for newly born baby of Suresh. They went to the shop in mall. They went in to the baby section to select gifts. Geet asked the salesman to show some gifts for newly born baby boy. She was selecting the gifts..Ram was only watching as he did not have to select them because Geet was the best selector. Whatever Geet said to buy he ordered the person to keep that separately.
She was selecting some more gifts .suddenly she heard some sounds. She looked there and found a couple fighting over the gifts for their baby..
The girl was pregnant and they were fighting on the color of the gift. Hubby was asking to select pink gifts while wife was forcing to select blue gifts..
Geet was looking at them mesmerised ..Though they were fighting yet Hubby was too careful for the wife and was asking her again and again to calm down as aggression would increase her BP...
Finally Hubby surrendered to wife saying that they would select the gifts of both choice ..and wife got happy to hear that and kissed on hubby's cheeks lovingly..
Geet for a moment imagined herself and Maan at their places..but she did not know if it would happen with her or not. She felt core of her eyes burnt and she asked Ram to make the payment for the gifts.
Ram paid and they returned to KM and priya asked Geet to give those gifts to Suresh..
Geet called him and gave all the gifts. Suresh was overwhelmed to see those expensive gifts..and he said-Bhabhi ..you did not need to do this..we get everything here which is more than our work..afterall we are servants and get the salary to work
Geet-and what was that Suresh that you did for me on Holi..That was not the work of a servant..and you did not get the money for that..even you rejected whatever you got from taiji..If you wanted you could keep that money and would m not bring out her all deeds..some relations can not be bound in name Suresh..They are connected to the hearts..and most important thing is that these are not for you these are for that little baby..so you don't have to do anything with these.
Suresh smiled and took all the gifts..and thanked all of them for their concern.
Geet came in her room after dinner. She was waiting for one call from Maan
,but he did not turn..
She was little sad..but could not do anything other than wait for his call.

Meeting went long and night started..
But the Client-Mr. john requested Maan to have dinner before leaving and he could not deny him. They had dinner and left for the hotel. Roshan informed Maan about Geet's call ..maan nodded ..
He reached to the room and looked at the time and thought that it would be very late in india almost past mid night..Geet must have slept ..But he again thought-what if she is awake and waiting for his call..if I don't call she may take in some other meanings..Let me give a ring..If she is sleeping then it's ok if not she will call back..
And he dialed Geet's no and to his surprise she picked up even before first ring was complete-Maan..why didn't you call after reaching there?
Maan could fel the concern and fear in her voice and he felt so good to hear her- Geet meeting came so sudden and I could not call,I m sorry
Geet-No Maan. It's ok..why are saying sorry.Infect papa told me about that but I could not wait..I m sorry agayr aap ko bura laga to maine meeting ke beech me disturb kiya.
Maan"Nahin Geet..nothing is like that..you are still awake? Wahaan bahut raat hogi
Geet-Yes ..it's 2 am here.
Maan-and you are still not sleeping.
Geet-I was waiting for your call.I was tensed if I slept then would not be able to receive your call. Now I got it and I will sleep now..Did you have your dinner?
Maan-haan ..and he heard the yawning sound of Geet and he asked her to sleep as she had to go to FH next day. And Maan after promising her to call daily at time cut the call.
He laid in bed and tried to sleep but Geet's day by day changing behavior was flashing in his eyes. He could sense some restlessness in her actions and voice too.
And he thought in his mind-Geet..I m ready to face you now..I will answer your every question. And I promise I will tell you everything very honestly leaving all up to you how you take it. I can't see you sad ..till then it was up to me I was fine with it but your restlessness is unbearable for me..your sadness hurts me. And he smiled-your countdown starts now..
Maan tried to sleep but wass not able to sleep. In these few days he did not know when he was habitual to kepp Geet near him while sleeping. Now he realized that he was missing Geet. He was turning and tossing in bed.
Neend nahin aa rahi hai na Maan?-he heard the voice of geet. He was shocked to see Geet lying near him.
Maan-Geet tum yahaan?
Geet-boliye na Maan are you not feeling sleepy?
Maan-How can I sleep when you are not with me.
Geet-Who said.?.see I m here with you only.
Maan-No ..you are only my imagination.. if I touch you,you will disappear.
Geet-No I won't I promise.
Maan- really?
Geet-Hmm.. try once
And Maan brought his hand near her face and touched her soft cheeks..and he saw geet still smiling.
Geet-I told you that I wont disappear.
Seeing her smiling at him, he collected all his courage and placed his pillow near Geet;'s pillow and now he was very close to her. He kept his arm under her head .Geet's head was on his arm and he pulled her on him and Geet willingly came on him to sleep..She put her head on his broad chest and Maan was having a contended smile on his lips for having her near him. He held her protectively in his arms. He pecked at her head and slept peacefully with his Geet keeping near him..
