For me the 2 performances of the year so far where actresses are concerned are Kangana - Queen and Alia Bhatt in 2 States. What iconic and powerful performances they were, completely redefined Indian cinema.

Do you think they have a chance at the awards? I personally am rooting for Alia in 2 States, I watched the movie this past weekend and I fell in love with her. For me, she beat Kangana in Queen, in fact Queen is bland in front of Ananya!

While I love Alia and 2 States, she wasn't convincing enough in her role. But she is definitely better than the other current actresses we have.

Kangna - Hmm I didn't like Queen but I like Kangna. Queen's story was odd; didn't enjoy the Europe parts.

We still have half year to go to see who takes the Best Actress award.

Queen any day..Alia was disappointing in 2 states..but if you ask me Highway..I would probably be in two minds because both were extremely good.

Alia's role in 2 states was nothing extra ordinary and I haven't watched Queen so no idea! 😆

I think PC will nail Mary Kom and sweep all awards.
