Ok, This is neither a Raman praiser post nor a basher post! So please read it in a neutral mindset, like that of Bala! 😉 I'm just trying to connect few dots and trying to bring out underlying stuffs.
Well, so the foremost issue I see in the forum that weighs heavier than other crimes of Raman (literally) is that he carried Shagun.😛
Remember that scene when he dropped her home during the curfew episode! Shagun was all elated that Raman still gives her "bhaav" but he clarified the reality then and there - "Tumhari jaga Ruhi ka chota sa kutha Muthu bhi hota na...main yeh hi karta!". Our forum went happily ballistic on this line and all of us praised his stance against her! Well, in my humble opinion, that is exactly what he did in the hotel. Even if Ruhi's kutha was suffocating he would have carried the doggy to save him. That's exactly how humanitarian, Raman is. He exhibited the same humanity when Sarika was in trouble, when Amma was hit, when Bala was double crossed, when Trisha wanted to marry Pathak and when Shravan could not go to Summer camp. I'm not including Ishita here and the stuffs he did for her, because they have a romantic angle to it. Hence I'm restricting the list of people who are not in his immediate family or not even family where he has acted human on a fellow human. That's him, we accepted his good deeds on Sarika, Bala, Trisha et al but we cant accept his kindness to Shagun. There is a quote by Ramana maharishi when he was bit by a scorpion while he tried to save it - "I did what I had to do according to my nature. The scorpion did what it had to do according to its nature".
And the second point of angst - "He did not talk to Ishita when he was carrying Shagun, he just walked off" - Yaaron thoda logically socho! Banda kitna der khada rehta with a 50 kg stuff in hand? Itni baari cheez uthaye hue baat kya, saas bhi nahi le pa raha hoga! 😉 Jaldi jaldi bhag gaya usko car mein thoosne keliye! Ruko, baat karega! 😊😉😳
