I think silent treatment have little problem .
Silent treatment wil work well in the scenario and will be quite interesting .
But there is a problem in it.
Raman is not even able to face Ishita and he dint wake her up so that they both dont lok at each other.
Now to the fact Raman is indirectly giving silent treatment to Ishita which is showing impact along with misunderstanding.
If Rman speaks with Ishita even for small time. She can recogonise that something is hurting him so much and she will try to find it out herself.

So Ishita should speak to Raman but not over that issue but like how she told a story to vandita about Param fiasco using a friends name.

Here she should scold her friends husband before raman and she will gwt enough room to find whether Raman is cheating her or not.
Once she finds out Ishita will solve the matter before Raman and again Apshagun fails. Then she has to give her lecture for Raman .
But scolding and direct attack wont work and yup silent treatment will work if Raman is concentrating towards home at home.

^ This!! If I saw mine with his ex I would confront him at the first opportunity I get. Especially because I'm like Ishita too in these matters. I have no qualms with him being friends with his ex, in fact I encourage it because I feel it's unhealthy to completely sever ties. But if you're going to hang out with her, I would like to at least know, I think I would deserve at least that much, and to lie so blatantly about it is worse. I would be upset, and I would ask him what he thinks he is doing sneaking around behind my back and lying to me. It's normal. Because if you keep quiet and give the 'silent treatment' no ones going to benefit. He's not going to know what the hell it is you're mad about, and I'm just going to get more upset because of all the anger and hurt I've bottle up in the process. If you talk things out a solution can be found. It's always best to tackle that which is bothering you head on. I don't think she should give home a free pass because he did break her trust and promise, you can't skip over that stuff. But I in Ishita's place would drop the case because of it's convoluted nature.

Raman is unsure of Ishita's rapport with Adi. The two don't have a connection. As he wants to protect his son, he is not sure if Ishita will be this understanding and help him in it...so letting his fears/insecurity taking hold, he is unable to tell her anything...

When Ishu asked him to respect Shagun that night on the bench, he was amazed as he couldn't understand what type of woman she is...that night she seemed almost too good to be true. Raman isn't that type of person, he never pretended like he was. ...so maybe Ishita will drop the case keeping in mind Adi's future thus again astonishing Raman and increasing his respect for her. That's does not mean however she will forgive him easily. Her trust broken, I hope she'll give him her two cents before distancing herself (emotionally) from him...

Raman told Shagun last week that Ishu is a mature woman and she will understand the situation, he couldn't keep the truth from his wife. But why does he need permission from Shagun about telling his wife Ishu about the situation esp. after he made a promise on the bench to be on the same page with Ishu in all matters relating to his children.

He is letting Shagun call the shots bec' he still hasn't dealt with the fallout of her walking out on him. There are residual feelings he has been avoiding for years and unless he deals with them Shagun will always push his emotional buttons and he'll react to them just like she knows he will. After all after being married for ten years she'd known how to needle him.

No questioning. She should just ignore him and make him crazy.

Long back Bala told Ishita when they talk on bench after Apology to Adi ...Give him(Raman) space and when right time comes and you see he is going wrong PULL THE STRING ... This is the time to pull the string ... Silent treatment is good only when he knows... she knew what he is doing... She should directly question him WHY LIE? and then after Silent treatment ...

Well I have a different perspective on Raman and Shagun relationship than you. I don't think there is residual feelings for her in him (not the romantic kind anyway). Sure they have a loaded past together so chances are they will always be more than simple acquaintances.

These days I saw Raman talking to her normally, being cordial to the mother of his child that's all. As I view it, he didn't ask her permission to tell Ishita the truth. He informed her, Ishita is his wife and he wants to share it with her BUT as you mentioned Shagun does know which button to push. She told him Ishita is not Adi's mom so she won't understand. This to me put Raman's fears to the fore. Despite what he says, I do feel he is insecure of Ishita's feelings/rapport in regards of his son. This serious matter does involve her mother and there is absolutely no connection between her and Aditya...hence he is being wary/doubtful of her level of understanding in this particular situation...as I see it, it's his fear/insecurity that is calling the shots and it's easier to be a coward and hide behind Shagun's words
