I will also add: People are failing to realize/see one key element: this is all happening BEFORE they are properly together, not AFTER. If it were after, I would understand the concern and uproar (to an extent). But because it's before, it's obviously to bring them to the point of getting closer and properly together.

I agree. He fails at being a moral person as well as a good parent. He knows that with shagun, adi is neglected and he's not in a good place emotionally. Instead of using the opportunity to "save" adi and give him a life lesson, he choses to save shagun .

Truly ishu should take ruhi's custody to hell with Raman and adi

For characters to develop and story to grow some things have to be dealt with. It's easy to say Ishita leave Raman, or that Raman's not worthy of her and should not care about Adi, but that's not how parents are in reality and not are situations like these dealt with such abruptness in the real world. I actually feel amazed and happy that the show is dealing with the main couple's story, getting them through a misunderstanding to get them closer along with the parenting issue here. MUCH NEEDED.
