When can we focus on dance and dancers?

I am the only one who feels this show needs to cut all the necessary drama and acts and just focus on dance and dancers?

I do not mind the comedy from the hosts, but lame and time wasting drama like Sophie's mirchi act was so unnecessary.

Maybe without all the extra drama we could get behind the scenes videos or actually get to know more about each contestant and choreographer.

Colors needs to stop trying to promote themselves through the show. Like rang rasiya reference every episode or Rudra...let Ashish be himself because it's all about dance and not what character you play. Palak is like another host which is so annoying. Channel shouldn't have to involve her in everything. I was excited to see Kiku dancing not Palak, but I guess the channel decides that because it's unfair that everyone else is themselves offscreen, but he isn't.

Bringing in those Colors Bahus was a waste of time and pointless. Instead, why not bring in the contestant's family or friends here and there. Also, I love CNWK, but the family needs to stick to their own show.

Remember Krystal came to support Karan...why not invite her on stage and she can talk about Karan. I know Colors is restricted to coverage of only Colors related people, but why she ignored and the camera panned over her so quickly. It's not like Karan and Krystal are still in a show together. Plus, having popular names come in like Krystal will actually increase TRP because Starplus fans who watch her show will watch Colors for her.

This topic has been discussed every time, but the channel always turns deaf ears to this. They should change the name of the show to this Drama Dikhala Jaa...this suits apt seeing the current scenario

The answer to your question is when the culture of Indian television changes.

This isn't simply a colors thing: This is an Desi/Indian TV show thing. I'm sure promoting your brand happens in western shows, but Indian shows have it so in your face and forced that it's hard to stomach.

JDJ /colors will continue to do this, as will other channels because it's acceptable and universal amoungst them. Whether it be promoting their dramas, their actor's "Characters" for the show; their reality programming- it's just something you can't escape. Coupled in with the power of television you're also bound to get endless amounts of Movie promotions as well which also does not happen on Western Shows.

I think learning to live with it is the only option :/

This is exactly the reason I do not watch the show. I feel that the show focuses more on movie promos/Saash-Bahu-Beta visits and heaping praise on Madhuri Dixit.
