Bluegal, according to the story - Shobana is dead.
Ganga shot her...and after that, she disappeared from the serial.

Ganga is wanted by the police for Shobana's death.
And he is hiding from the police by escaping off to Andhaman...

Don't know if they plan to bring back Shobana's character....
But Thamira in jail, did mention in one of her scenes with Jeeva, that her dear friend Shobana is dead.

oh spain then confirmed shobana is dead.. too bad.. i was hoping she was alive and escaped together with ganga to andhaman 😆

Still I am not too sure about Shobana being dead.

Thanmira may be just believing that shobhana is dead and I feel that the director may suddenly come out with a story of shobana being rescued by some one later and that is why they kept it as a mystery.

... if im not wrong jeeva brought a garland for aathi to congratulate... it was funny seeing aathi bending her head to receive the garland lol.. for a moment i though she was going to ask aathi to put it for her instead but turns out different story.. interesting... at least the story gave us an interesting twist and jeeva let aathi win to make her lose hehe 😆

Thanks bluegal for your observation but I can't reallly remember whether it was garland or bouquet that Jeeva was giving to Adhi.

no prob dasa, the first time jeeva visited aathi in hospital, she brought a bouquet which aathi flung it away in anger, the second time she visited her was when she gave up the chairman post to aathi & came to congratulate her, she garlanded her 😊

You're right, dasa sir - it's not clear if Shobana is dead or not.

She just vanished from the serial...it was not shown what happenend to her after the gun shot, or even if anyone took her to the hospital or even if a post-mortem report was given to the police. Ganga was nowhere near Shobana when she handed over the sim card to Nithila, just before her death. So I don't know how the police concluded that Ganga is responsible for the gun shot, unless it came from Shobana's mouth.

Maybe they plan to bring back Shobana's character later into the story, like you said.

But a few characters in the serial have declared her "dead" for now. And if she really died according to the story, that was a sad and pitiful way of killing her character. I mean, everyone around her left her wounded on the floor...and ran to the nearest computer to find out what was in the sim card (before her "death"). Maybe they were not aware that she was gun shot?

By the way, in Friday's episode...Jeeva brought a garland to congratulate Aadhi. I was very sleepy when I saw that episode, but after bluegal mentioned how Aadhi was bending her head to receive the garland...I remembered her funny facial expression at that moment. It really was a garland, just like bluegal said.

Looks like the last scene was a dream sequence....
