That's what this episode was about, wasn't it!
How dare Rafia quietly move away, and not beg and plead and bow down to male superiority ! For this Murtaza feels she deserves talaq and worse.
And how dare kashaf stand up to her father and insist on building her own future, refusing to get chained into a marriage that will give her a life like her mother's ! Murtazas male ego will not tolerate this
Never mind that his own brother has cheated him, Rafia and her daughters must bear the cross for that too.
What is interesting is that today Zaroon showed his male ego, and also showed that he is just a much milder version of Murtaza, more suave, less crude and obvious but a chauvinist nonetheless .
And that kashaf has nothing but contempt for him, has spurred him to add her to his list of conquests.
Not a very flattering side to Zaroon, hmm.
But then even kashaf is not really immune to him, he disturbs her, she isn't as indifferent as she proclaims
He is smart, arrogant, intelligent and is aware of the effect he has on girls and this bothers kashaf
He is as much a challenge for her, as she is for him.
So an episode of challenges given knowingly or unknowingly, and challenges accepted, with dignity as by Rafia, with anger as by Murtaza, with arrogance as by Zaroon
