Kashaf is indeed the one character closest to my heart, but her mother is no less!
WHAT A WOMAN! 👏 Not many women have that much strength. The "never say die" attitude.

An otherwise bright vibrant one, falls short for words whenever her husband speaks lowly of her,but dont expect her to keep her mouth shut, when you raise fingers at her daughters!

Education saved her. Just imagine,if this useless abba huzoor of theirs had left them and she was uneducated, how would she find a job?how would she feed her daughters?

she understands the harsh reality of her world, but yet, maintains, that better days will come. Always looks at the brighter side of life.

Whenever she says "beta",you feel so warm inside. Its genuine.

Afte watching ZGH,I honestly respect my mother even more. She works so hard and I hardly acknowledge her. As I side note,I am VERY glad my father isnt ANYTHING like kashaf's father. On the contrary,he always encouraged me to do "whatever it is" that I wanna do. 😆

Definitely Disha. Wonderful post.
She is such a fabulous woman. She never gives up, never loses hope. I was legit tearing up when she told Kashaf that she CANNOT even think of forsaking her education to help her family. If this was an Indian drama, Kashaf would have been married off into some ridiculous hate-marriage to save her family by now.
This is why this show is so brilliant. Because in real life, most good parents would have said the same exact thing Rafia told Kashaf. I love, love how she puts complete emphasis on education. What a wonderful, sorted, brave woman. I lover her. I love everything about her. The way she never backs down when it comes to the happiness of her daughters, the way she is so sensitive and hardworking- like you said I have a renewed appreciation for my own mother through her. <3

Rafia is indeed an amazing woman and an excellent role model. She epitomizes what a woman and a mother is. She has class, she is independent, she is spiritual and god fearing. She corrects her daughters as well as stands up for them. She works hard and has shown her daughters the importance of hard work by setting an example. And she is forever optimistic.
