I have LOTS to say (so bare with me!😆)
Okay so from the time the promos of the Zindagi channel came out...I was super excited to watch its shows. Mainly because I was sick of the shows that are being aired in India at the moment (no offense) and also because I desperately wanted to watch something coz I was hella bored during this vacation time.
Zindagi Gulzar Hai is the second Pakistani show I am watching, I had previously watched Humsafar (And LOVEEEDDD it!), and the promos plus the prospect of watching Fawad Khan again seemed extremely exciting to me.
What I hadn't expected was that I'll be watching ZGH non-stop for 2 freakinggg days! After I watched the 1st episode on TV, I couldn't stop myself from watching further on youtube! It is so damn addictive!!!
Coming to the show, I have only one word to aptly describe it, beautiful. ZGH is one of those rare shows, which have connected with me so effortlessly and has moved me greatly in so many ways. As a viewer, I found it to be FLAWLESS!
From the actors to the script- ZGH is much beyond excellence and is in all ways MINDBLOWING!
This show is so realistic! That's what is so amazing about it. No cheesy dialogues, crappy and flashy clothes, over the top makeup...the characters and their backgrounds have been kept in mind and that clearly shows.
And this show introduced me to one of the finest actresses I have ever watched, Sanam Saeed. Hats off to this girl!👏 She is bloody brilliant! And so are all the actors and characters- they are sketched to perfection.
Even though I can't understand the urdu that is used sometimes, the beauty that those word hold, magically reach me...I love love love Kashaf's diary entries! <3
And also the actress who plays Kashaf's mom- 👏 I just wanna give her a BIG Hug! The sorrows and miseries of the Murtuza girls and their mother has been brought up with such finesse, that I was left speechless with the amount of talent our neighbors in Pakistan have! We gotta have more of these kind of actors here too.😃
The dialogues, again, are just WOWWW! And the way the makers have integrated the woes of both Zaroon and Kashaf's family is intelligence used at its best!
As I mentioned before, I have loved Fawad Khan as Asher but his portrayal of Zaroon has left a powerful impact on me as a viewer. In spite of him playing a MCP kinda character, I just couldn't hate him. On the contrary, I was able to get into the mindset of Zaroon as a character...and could clearly see his perspective.
ZGH is one of those shows that I know will always stay with me. I am on the 20th episode now and I am so sad that it will end in the next 6 episodes. I just don't want it to end :(
I guess ZGH is the result of what excellent scripting and talented actors can do. A BIG CLAP FOR EVERYONE!👏
After such a long time I have found a show completely free of loopholes, unnecessary melodrama and foolishness. What a treat this show is!⭐️
Woof! I wrote a LOT...But I just wanted to say all these things...share your views people! I wanna fan-girl <3
