Congrates to the whole team and its great that these new male actors are doing so well for themselves and I guess biru boy has definitely got competition now that makes me extremely happy. Besides 1 song haven't really seen any of the promos though bt just by the pic of shraddha and sid they look amazing together and after A2 know she also contributed to the success of the open day. And as for salmans low record considering all the negativity jai ho, the protests etc etc it still did really good.

As much as I am elated about my Siddy's movie getting a bumper opening,I am not delusional to believe it has got to do anything with his star power...It was a team effort all the way...Many factors contributed to the collections...Balaji's brilliant marketing startegies(even without out floating link up affairs abt lead pair since the time of shoot),Mohit Suri(he is a brand name after A2),RD(he has his own fan base especially in Maharashtra),Shradha(she has many fans in real world...many boys think she is the most beautiful actress after DP and Kat),SUPER HIT music and ofcourse Sid(atleast he has a huge female fan base in real world as well)...So I hope Sid's PR wont get overactive and publish articles crediting him for movie being hit cuz it will be foolish(IRanveer's PR went overboard at the time of Gunday bestowing entire credit of opening on him which irked many)..I dont think any of the newbie actors can be called crowd pullers(excluding Ranbir ofcourse)...Be it be Sushant,Arjun,Ranveer,Sid...ppl are just starting to notice them and appreciate them...a looong way to go before they reach the big league!!

Congratulations to the whole team. I will contribute to the collection on Tuesday. Happy for all of them. Honestly, if any team deserved a success like this, it was this team and the team of City lights. Well done.

WOW! 16cr+ opening is AWESOME 👏 Congratulations to Sid and Shraddha on this massive opening. I think Riteish's last 4 movies have had double digit openings which is just AMAZING. 👏
It goes to show that good buzz for a movie, songs, a good story (I haven't heard many disappointed), good reception to leads can take a movie a LONG way. I'm definitely not going to miss this one in theatres 😊 Mohit does it again. 🥳 No doubt this film will reach 100cr+ so congratulations to all the fans as well 🥳
