It's so annoying now. He's so old. He looks so old. He's an uncle. She's an auntie. She looks so bad. She's aging fast. He's aging fast. Cut the crap people.

I mean aging is a natural process for every human being. You can't expect every 40+ year old to look like they are 20+. Let's get real. Actors/actresses are human beings just like us and yes they do age. Can't expect them to look young now can you? It's a different matter if they take the effort to look young by exercising, dieting, etc. But for those that don't do anything, it's their choice. Me, you, and the rest of the world is going to age eventually. So cut the age factor please.

Now it's a different matter when actors work with actresses 20 years younger than them. But that's a whole new issue. But I'm tired of the 'he's looks old' & 'she looks old' crap. Get real. If you're old, you're sure as hell going to look old (and I don't mean to offend anyone by saying this, but just trying to prove a point). There are many people out there that are 40+ and still look AMAZING for their age. And if you do maintain yourself, you can look amazing after a certain age. But if you chose not to, that is a personal choice that's all. Actors and actresses will age too.

I agree with you but what can you expect from this forum. According to this forum everything is overrated. Everything sucks 😆 Which is kind of sad. We fail to realize that actors are humans too and they work as hard as we people do and if they get fame then they also loose their personal life.
Aging happens. Everyone will age eventually but that doesn't mean we will disrespect that process.

I can name many senior actors who can give competition to this new lot. But some just can't so what. They are here for a reason and there are many people who love them, just because to some people they are uncles and aunties doesn't mean to others they are so people here need to cut their crap!

As far as working with younger actresses is concern then Salman Shahrukh Aamir Hrithik Akshay Saif Ajay are not the first actors to do that. There have been actors in past too who worked with younger heroines! Even Rajnikanth is working with actresses who are 40 years younger than him. At least bolly senior actors are not doing that.

We call them aunty and uncles as a sign of respect. For ex: I like your avi, Rani aunty looks nice..

Nobody would comment if actors behaved and played roles appropriate to their age. Cinema is a visual medium and movies are supposed to sell dreams. Comments on looks and age are given then.
I would blame advertising and beauty industries for feeding this age fetish too. Any line or spot is alarming and needs to be fixed up. Nowadays creams for ones in teens and 20s have also come up to preserve youth and fight against aging. Heroines start getting called "Aunty" too soon!

It is inevitable for a hero to escape comments on age when he nears 50. Films can be hits but their looks do begin to put off the viewer.
Heroes get leeway for far longer than heroines. I don't mind if a section starts calling them uncles. (They are thick skinned anyway and never back off even at 80. Mr. Dev Anand cast a teen in his film and kissed her, for example.)😆

Aging is natural and happens to all. But heroes and heroines are not supposed to be "ordinary". That's why at some point they decline when they no longer feed fantasies.

When actors are around age of 40 or more, then people will definitely call actor UNCLE. My dad's age and SRK, Salman or Aamir's age is same and he is called UNCLE by people, then why can't we call thoe actors as Uncle. Ismein bura kya hai? It's not that be are disrespecting them..
Same for actress...
