I don think Ishita-Raman are ruined..Common, we all know how vulnerable Raman is when it comes to Adi..Shagun played her cards well..She hit where it hurts..Raman is literally obsessed with Adi..Of course he wouldn't send Shagun to jail if he thinks Adi will suffer..He looked supremely guilty once he reached home especially after realizing how much Ishita trusts him..He is caught between the devil & the deep sea..If anything, i feel sorry for him cos we all know how emotionally weak Raman is in reality..

How has he turned grey? Of course he is not your perfect Telly soap lead who almost always does the right thing..He is flawed and that makes him relatable..Raman is exceptionally vulnerable when it comes to Adi and nothing in this world can make him do something which in his opinion harms that boy in any way..He was totally in character IMO..You could see how horrible he felt about himself once he got back home..
