Indian Idol Qualities

We all know that it is a singing competition, but judges say that an Indian Idol should have more than singing quality.

Please vote.

I think Next Indian Idol Should have good voice. Becoz whenever we listen to a playback singer, we admire good voice. Other qualities would not make good singer, but can make good actors. II3 is the platform where people will select good singers, based on their singing talent, not on their apperance or performance.

Who said Indian Idol is a singing competition ????? Where in the title do u see anything that's related to singing (unlike ASVOI and SRGMP) .... Indian Idol is all abt style, dude ... singing to yuhin hota hain .... timepass ke liye .... otherwise we will get bored watching the serial, na !!!!

I am not agree with you. If Indian Idol is not a singing competition at all, then why are they singing from the first day. They never asked any contestant to act, or dance or do any thing else. Judges always select contestants based on their singing, not due to their dressing, their attitude or style.

So think abt it

all of the qualities...but singing being the most important

😆 .. yes I know ... I wanted to add a bit of sarcasm .... But, on a serious note, don't expect anybody from this lot to be a playback singer, coz. they absolutely won't be able to compete with the likes of Sonu, Shaan, Shreya, Sunidhi, Alka ji, et. al. .... yeh show aisa hi bas jab tak chalta hain, enjoy karo .... show khatam, baat khatam .... Also, especially in reality shows, it's all abt connecting to the audience ... some do it via their voice, some thru their singing, some thru their attitude and style .... and especially in a visual medium, more often than not, attitude and style wins over voice ...

I agree with u. This is a reality show, just to get popularity and earn money from it. But u quoted Sunidhi Chahuhan as a playbak singer. But can u tell me, from where Sunidhi Chahuhan came. She was in one of the same show, AWAZ INDIA KI, and Shreya Ghosal, who won SARE GAMAPA. So, one can gain popularity if he/ she have good voice. So, people will select a good singer.
