I still pinch myself to confirm if its a dream or real? How can ekta's show be 99% perfect no nonsense story? (Okay I cut 1% for bokwaas editing hehe).
1) ruhi on the logo holding Ishita's hand is what made me wonder what's special about this bond?
2) ishita, being the main lead yet so simple, only one long chain n earrings and simple hair n makeup made me relate it to real women
In real life we r too busy with house n work tht we dont wear heavy neck pieces or designer wears daily or heavy makeup.
Other shows leads wear designer sarees n loud makeup n accessories on daily basis...even dey sleep in makeup n sarees ...lol I always rolled my eyes...how do they sleep like that?
Here, we see ishita sans makeup, dressed in simple kurti n loose hair when she goes to sleep.
So real it is.
3) the main lead is a dentist and owns her own car. She is independent, instilled with great traditional n moral values yet has the modern outlook too. Its a perfect blend unlike other shows leads who either r housewives dealing wid saas or r too innocent to stand up for themselves.
4) they live in 3bedroom apartment (okay I still find it fishy as d house seems small but romi, ruhi, simmi have their own rooms which amuses me.
Anyway, I meantthats how real middle class families or even upper middle class family stays. Not everyone lives in big bunglows like other shows.
5) the scenes are not dragged (except accident one still making us bang our heads).
6) no over acting by any actors except toshiji n iyer aunty which sometimes goes ott. Otherwise, ishra ruhi scenes r pure treat to the eyes.
7) no saas bahu drama...touchwood. till now this area is not touched upon by ekta mata. Hope she doesn't do in future too.
8) the pain of being rejected due to her infertility issue just moved me.
9) kp's oneliners...bas ek epi me ek bhi miljaye to humari din banjayegi
10) the acting by divz n karan is so so real. They breathed life into thwir characters that I laugh if they laugh, I cry when they cry.
