Lots to digest in today's epi

Pretty happening episode today...many intense scenes...and lots to digest overall😆

1) Rudra rightly questioning Dilsher for slapping him for the very woman that he's spent a lifetime poisoning Rudra's mind against...and for once Dilsher was about to tell the truth to Rudra about the whole picture regarding what happened with him and Mala but Rudra obviously feels he already knows it all having it drilled in his head for so many years.

2) The entire family drama in the corridor...Dilsher standing up for Mala and for the first time admitting his failure as a man in the whole situation...and even then Mala trying to defend him as well...in all this, Mohini's JHAKAAS taunts just about made my day👏👏🤣...especially the way she was talking about prem ke panchhi getting so carried away that they might end up falling in embrace in front of their daughter in law only😆😆...can I just Ananya ji ROCKED today? She was like EXTRA awesome teekhi mirchi Mohini today😆

3) Paro questioning Rudra for speaking like this about his mother...and actually equating it to her own situation when she was once a recently widowed woman living as another man's fiance in his house...interesting set of dialogues and back and forth b/w the two characters here...especially Rudra's ever famous repeated "Woh tera pati NAHIN tha, Paro"😆...and him telling her he'll kill her if she ever dares to cheapen herself with cheap labels like that...but Paro was using some kind of high level twisted logic to make Rudra realize that he needs to respect his mother as a woman first.

In all this another interesting choice of words from Paro for me was, "Jis Rudra se maine pyar kiya THA"😆...already PAST TENSE, Paro Baisa? Itni jaldi?😆😆...Pyar khatam ho gaya cuz Rudra didn't play ideal son? Anyways, moving on...

4) Mala's backstory revealed at long last! So Dilsher was a pretty horrible man to live with...bitter pretty much all his life even before getting handicapped...and Mala suffered for as long as she could...very disappointing to see that Dilsher was even abusive towards little Rudra in his drunken stupors...

And Mala did after all meet Tejawat BEFORE leaving Dilsher😆...at some KAVI SAMMELAN no less...I'm trying to imagine Tejawat reciting poetry😆...they weren't very clear on whether Mala told Tejawat that she was already married when she embarked on the affair with him.

So for a while then Mala was balancing both a handicapped/bitter/abusive husband, the family business as well as her affair with Tejawat? 😕

And ultimately Dilsher became such a pathetic loser that Mala couldn't stand it one more second and had to leave.

And finally Rudra has heard the truth..

Precap: Rudra is letting the two parents of the year have it👏👏...A horrible, failed marriage aside, what they did to HIM is inexcusable...Mala found her own outlet away from the nightmare but how could she leave her son behind to what she thought was such a horrible man?

And how come she was SHIELDING this horrible man all her life too? Trying to save this marriage as well as simultaneously carrying on an affair? Wow.

Also, the bit where Dilsher credited Paro with his overnight change of heart was just😆😆...if that is all it took, umm wasn't Mala exactly Paro's carbon copy too? How come Mala's lowe never melted his heart? But two days with Paro and he was a changed man? 😆😆

Anu jee- i am toh left pakdoing my sar after the episode today- too much for my chota sa dimaag and contradictions galore!! left right and centre!
I toh cant first of all fathom- what Rudra said was so horrible that he should apologise to anybody- wasnt he stating the reality as he knows it??? And just because Mala is umra main badi and has given birth to him he shouldnt say such things?! Hmmm!! And Dilsher saying that rehne do akele- akal thikane aa jaayegi...wow!! Rudra should just pack his bags and get out of that madhouse pronto!

Secondly- yes Jis Rudra se paro ko pyaar tha- its not the 'tha' that bugged me at all- its what she said that oh how respectful towards women THAT RUDRA was?!!! Really- was he- what about the times he said that she was besharam, trying to phasao him yada yada yada...and that was all after she knew the truth about Tejawat?? Infact I used to be fuming mad with Rudra that time for spewing such stupid accusations!! But tab bhai he was respectful😕

There a whole lot more I can say but i am stuck badly right now...will come back later!

LOL haha oh yeah that line from Dilsher about letting Rudra go so that his akkal will be thikaane laging...lol seriously these characters are all over the place with their overnight change of hearts😆...which is why I love loved LOVED Mohini today for pointing out the HYPOCRISY of many of the characters😆...how convenient for Dilsher now that he can pick on Rudra and slap him when all Rudra did was repeat back to him what he has been fed all these years.

Well the issue was with what Rudra implied...that his mother was of a loose character...so Paro equated that to her own situation when she was a widow who soon ended up living in another man's house in his very room...if someone looks at this from the outside, what label would they have given Paro...so she did have a point there.

About Rudra...lol I think she was trying to say that he did know right from wrong even though his thoughts on women and their DHOKAA left a lot to be desired😆...I'm not sure Paro had thought this argument through btw😆

The THA didn't bug you at all? Wow guess it's just me then...but I thought that was a big thing to say...such convenient past tense already?😆...I loved Rudra's reactions in that scene...all on point, intense and the possessive streak still showing.

🤗 Anytime!

LOL I dunno why the epi just amused me even as I was feeling horrible about the whole thing...what Dilsher turned out to be...a drunkard abusive husband and even as I felt bad for Mala on one level, I couldn't absolve her of how she let down and abandoned Rudra either.

And the bit about how she met Tejawat toh I dunno I just couldn't control my laughter IMAGINING their meetings😆😆

OK quick reply- I actually didnt even pay attention to the 'tha' till you pointed it out- and here I am being generous to paro and giving her a benefit of doubt- that she was just sort of just comparing like 'the man I knew' and not 'pyaar THA'!1 But sochne ki baat hai- if Rudra does not forgive his parents- will that pyaar be tested?? BUT again- maaf toh usko karna hi padega na- usko janm diya hai na?!! this argument- *head desk*

And the loose woman thing- that is a by product of 15 saal ka khoobsurat aurat jaap- and Rudra is not a exactly a 'NICE FELLA' is he?? He has quite an acerbic tongue- so this was not such a big profanity coming from him- just IMO! And she was drawing parallel to her story here- I dont exactly agree with the parallels here- and she also heard Dilsher in the corrider and came armed with that knowldge na!
But I am the most mad at Dilsher today!

Chalo--- I need to bhago and forget about RR ...I am commiting harakiri bigtime by coming to IF right now!! Bis Spater!

Ofcourse I understand that what she was TRYING to say was that the man she knew wouldn't say anything like this...but the CHOICE OF WORDS was UNFORTUNATE is what I'm saying...She needn't have said pyar kiya THA...she could have said pyar HAI and still made her point, simple😆...cuz it just ended up sounding like even the pyar was past tense😆

Oh this was basically just Paro pushing back...we all know how stubborn she is...so yeah anytime she feels he's not doing the right thing, she will push back like this only...but what a parallel she drew, man😆...didn't see it coming...I toh just enjoyed Rudra's reactions to the arguments she made😆

Yes I also don't get the surprise...Rudra has gotten Dilsher's acrebic tongue in viraasat in his genes but he's still nowhere near as horrible as Dilsher seems to have been in his youth...still ppl expect noble deeds from Rudra😆...anyways chhodo.

awesome post Anu.
surprisingly a tandav in every episode, its just and moreover when he is that much strong in his stand .

Ok so the revelation of dilsher being abusive, but i couldnt sumpathise with Mala. How could she leave Rudra to a man who lost his leg in alcoholism, hardly cared for his child, and Mala saw that with her own eyes. STRANGE.

Rudra was bang on in his every scene, loved how he did not feel ashamed of his blast off to mala infact asked some valid questions to Dilsher. Loved it more when he stopped Paro, i loved the way he went all mad and helpless while she kept accusing him about thinking crap about her. I like how his love is beyond relationships, beyond social norms, nobody dares to put paro down and not even paro herself.
I wrote in my post, how i disagree with Paro that how he is not the same Rudra who she had loved. The fact is she is judging his love, judging his suffering and judging the person Rudra is based on her belief system, she has to come out of the divine power land, she has to come out of the virtual world and face the reality. Rudra is real, he will not respect or love somebody due to age or sex, respect and love has to earned thru deeds, and Rudra being Rudra he is always weak for people he loved but he cannot support and justify them only because they are his parents, their deeds were wrong, and their have been times when children makes their parents realize their mistakes instead of blindly worshipping them for their regressive acts. Rudra being a major, being a patriotic officer, his judging capacity is way more stronger and rational and its just sad how Paro has made him and his love for her look so small tonight. the more i try liking her character the more she makes me go mad at her acts. seesh.

enuff of rants, I loved Mohini for hitting the nail at the correct point everytime, i think she and Rudra seems to be still sane here, otherwise everyone else seems like blah...
