it might be correct to say that some people do judge by the looks, but i think the fact that she is still in the show must be appreciated and there shouldnt be any complain specially from her side.

We can't even complain because audience will say 'Public voting hai to hum jise chaahein vote denge'.

thats the main problem... atleast Fame Gurukul concept was better - there atleast poeple first judged by judges then faculty then got second chance then judged by public and then contestants

Most people are TONE DEAF. But jokes aside, TV is such a visual medium and I'm not surprised that someone like Suhit is still around.

when Smita said about her looks, it was very bad to hear from such a talented contestant...

and also I liked what Javed A. said about the other judges that simplicity is a suger quoted version of telling an average looking girl that you dont have xfactor I agree with him... no one has any right to tell anyone whether s/he is not that good looking in any way.... she does not need sympathy but some votes based on her talent...

people save many besure contestants considering they have half of the qualities to be II but contrary to it which is actually 75% singing & 25%performance with looks is required - people fall for that 25% but cant see the major part 😕

I agree with u angierockzzz .... Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses ... But what they should be focus on is how to bring their positives out ... there's no use of complaining now ... instead, it's time to pull up the socks and get to work ... she might get sympathy votes once or twice, but not everytime .....

True she's done badly at times. But then she's not worse than Suhit is is she?
So she does have a point there. And hats off to Javed ji..really!i admire his ability to stick his neck out for someone like that.
What Smita needs to do is be more energetic and joyous..i understand she's got lots of personal problems..but she could pull up her socks a bit. 😊
