Looking at the third Friday figures it will emerge the biggest grosser of 2014 and if the film gets a near 60 crore share it would mean the fifth hit film of 2014 after 2 States, Queen, Heropanti and Ragini MMS 2.

Humshakals had an average start at the box office but picked up at multiplexes from the afternoon and evening shows to get a decent first day. If it continues to gain at the multiplexes over the weekend the film will emerge a good success. The film has the potential to put up a big Sunday due to the family audience.

Fugly was a poor fare in the first week with around 11.50 crore nett and despite the film having low costs it is still a loser.
