Guess the format

Since VOI has still kept the format for the following rounds under covers... all we can do is speculate😛

What do you think is going to be the format of the show moving fwd? How many singers do you think they will end up selecting in these audition rounds? Please share😊

since they are selecting 6-8 singers on an average per city, i think they might end up having somewhwere around 30-35 singers... they wud probably then have them performing and judges eliminating them each week until they r left with 12-14 singers and then public voting would come in... i think thats gonna be the format, but with gajendra, i am expecting some surprise as always - maybe something new that we havent thought of, some new concept... 😊

i hope gajji goes back to his original format till thetop 12 are selected..

initial episodes would have 2 boys and two girls competing.
each episode will have 3 rounds..first a light music round,second taal round(to judge how quickly the singer can grasp)/singing without background score (the real test) finally the judges choice of a semiclassical/gazal,thumri etc..

once we have selected a dozen genuinely talented singers..we can leave it to the janta to decide whose voice should be"voice of india"

I hope gajji has the vision and confidence(in the janta) to go back to the format he evisioned and successfully ran the show for almost a decade..

i can only hope..

And I hope for your hope Ankita... How much I wish to see the same format coming back..... That will indeed identify the genuine talent... Unfortunately - speed and pressure is the name of the game, and that format will only attract tags like 'boring' and 'slow'... But I would just love to see a format like that too....

I am guessing what really is going to happen - out of the 30-35 odd singers that are going to get selected, there will be a series of rounds where 6-7 singers will compete in each round - I had also read that these singers will be divided into some 2 groups for training etc... and I am thinking that next round onwards we will see more musical personalities coming and judging the show too... Lets see how it turns up..

But expecting some great musical contest from next round on because baring a 3-4, all the singers selected so far have been great 👏

...whatever may be the format of the show,one thing is sure ke it will be treat for ears 😛 😳 .........old format will be good plus i want the regional round back 😛 i want to hear songs from dff.lang.......i'm too excited yaar 😛 😳 😊 ,.Gaj ji plz bring some new ideas n baaki sab shows ko dikha do ke aap hi best ho is field me👏

Depending upon the number of cities and the rate at which they are selecting contestants, my guess is they may end up with somewher closer to 48 participants.

I imagine some rapid de-selection rounds in a bunches of a minimum of 2 each or probably more (like Indian Idol style).

After 4-6 weeks, I expect the group to be trimmed down to 12-16. Of course, there has to be some Brahmastra style surprises in between. It is not Gajji's style to have a straight cut show 😛 .

The final 12-16 is when the Public voting will begin and we will see one singer voted out each week.

Hmmm, will the judges train them or will it be a separate music director and vocal coach (like in II3)? I think Lata Ji may be a judge in one of the future episodes...one of the articles mentioned that Gajji was trying to bring her as a guest judge...
