I had long given up on Bollywood movies cuz they are way too commercial and senseless now. However, once in the blue moon there is a movie that I decide to watch. One such movie was Raanjhanaa. I planned to watch the movie when I saw its trailer but never got the time. Tonight they showed it on a movie channel so I watched it with full enthusiasm and missed RR in the process - I knew I could later watch it on catch up tv. Thing is I had no clue that sth so hot was gonna happen in RR so there was no rush.
I really liked the movie Raanjhaana so I thought it was gonna play on my mind for weeks. But guess what?! There was no trace of Ranjhaana after I watched RR. It's all PARUD now!
I am not a romantic person so romantic scenes don't really create a strong effect as long as I am concerned. But tonight's RR episode was so well done that i wished it never ended. The subtlety, the emotions, the meaningful words, the innocence, the desire, the longing were all portrayed with perfection.
Ashish is a very shy and reserved guy in real life yet the character Rudra was totally lost in Paro to the exclusion of everything else in his surrounding. Wish I could tell you Ashish that Even the thought of u not playing Rudra disturbs me now.
Sanaya has said repeatedly that romantic scenes are awkward for actors... But WHERE was that awkwardness girl?! Paro's innocence, shyness, hesitance, and boldness were the limelight. Perfection ki bhi ek hud hoti hai Sanaya ji.
Not to forget the magic created by the writer, director, and other technicians. Job well done team RR!
Please continue recreating this magic!
