Ameeta: Hi,thanks.
ITvF: D3 is metamorphosing now ,lot of new
changes could you shed some light on it please?
Ameeta: Ya,we are having four new kids who are
entering the show. The earlier kids are in the third
year of the college and these new kids are going to
the first year of the college. We are going to have
more fun, more color, more relationships with new
kids coming in.
ITvF: So how did this go by,how did you audition
for it,who are they we have no clue actually and I
just got some reports that one is DID finalist or
participant and other is a contestant of India's Got
Talent?
Ameeta: There is this guy Sumeed who is from DID,
I don't know if he is a finalist but he is a popular
contestant from DID. There is Anusua Chowdhury
who was one contestant in India's got talent, There
is this guy called Jason Haze ,Jason I think this guy
is from Dancing Ke Superstar two years back; I'm
not really sure. We got him through one of the
auditions when we were like running through
people . There is a fourth girl Pratibha Kaul ,
Pratibha also we got through one of our auditions,
she isn't from any of the reality show.
ITvF: Have they started. I just see the promo has
come out . How do you handle more of them and
the many more stories to come?
Ameeta: Oh My God! that is like a very big
question. Now it is fun, we have more people on
board, more relationships and more equations with
new people.
I just want to check this one, there is a lot of buzz
that new people are coming in and old people are
going away ,nothing of that sort is happening
everybody is there on the show. There is also a buzz
that this is D3 Season 2.There is nothing called
Season 2 this is the same show. Every show needs
some changes so here we added a few in the
existing cast .I'm sure viewers will like it to. Yes
there will be new relationships and new equations.
ITvF: Yes that was about to be my next question,
will the old cast be there ?
Ameeta: Ya there is a buzz that old cast are
going ,The old cast is absolutely staying in the
show,they are not going anywhere and that's why
the promo has the old cast with the new cast
ITvF : Including Simmi,Bharath and the other cast
Ameeta: Ya ya ya they are staying in the show
ITvF: Thats heartening to here, that was a concern
for others. So now tell us Ameeta since your new
entrants are primarily dancers, for the acting part
are you going to send them out to workshops ?
Ameeta: Well t,hey had had their little share of
workshops before coming on board, this has been
going on for a while but it is completely different
when we come in front of the camera . You can do
all the workshops in the world but the actual
reaction is when you start working in front of the
camera ,the lights are on and everybody is looking
at you. They are working hard. It feels like the
beginning of D3 all over again when I had seen
Amar,Vicky ,Shantanu and everybody in their initial
days when they were all trying to act and we use
to take so many takes and now they do it like a
piece of cake. It comes very naturally but earlier
they used to be extremely nervous. I feel along
with me the entire cast is reliving that moments all
over again. These people going through the same
emotions but they are helping each other out,they
are very supportive I guess they relate with them
very well from where to stand . I guess it is going
to be a while but I'm sure we will pick up.
ITvF : We had professor Karan Mallik for them are
you having someone similar coming for them or
someone equuivalent?
Ameeta: Well not as of now we will see. I wish I
could get Professor Mallik but Professor Mallik is
very busy
ITvF : Your lead Shakti is also doing a dance reality
show did you manage to catch up with it?
Ameeta: I was not able to see her first
performance but I caught up with the second, she is
as awesome as ever and doing a great job.
ITvF: Anything else you would like to share with all
your viewers.
Ameeta: I would just like to say that please watch
the show. We have some new people for you. I hope
it is going to add to the existing fun of D3 that is
going to be there. Please don't go into group
saying we don't want new people and like that.
Please watch the show for the entire cast as a
whole and not for individual groups .Watch it as a
whole and love the show for that.
