Ranbir Kapoor, who was in Cape Town shooting for his home production 'Jagga Jasoos' opposite alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif, returned to Mumbai recently. At a recent football match where Ranbir was promoting his cousin Armaan Jain, the Kapoor lad was bombarded with many questions surrounding his personal and professional life.

One of the questions was regarding the rumours of Ranbir Kapoor moving out of his parents' home to a plush pad of his own. The reports suggested that Ranbir's new apartment was a love-nest for him to settle down with alleged lover Katrina Kaif. The buzz was that Ranbir is to occupy three inter-connected flats on the third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors of a ten floor building on Hill Road, Mumbai. There was also news that Ranbir's mom Neetu was involved with the development and decoration of the property.

When asked about this, Ranbir clearly mentioned, "Where I am living currently, it is my family home, my father's home. It is going into redevelopment as we are making it bigger. So when this is happening, people can't stay in the house. I am very happy to live with my parents. I feel that I have my independence..and I feel very attached to my parents. So I don't have any plans of moving with out and will spend all my life living with them. "

Well, it seems like the plush pad is just an additional property for the Kapoors after all, and not the love-nest that we thought Ranbir was moving out to. Well, so there. All crystal clear, isn't it? Wonder what a certain Ms Kaif feels about this!

Watch Ranbir talk about this at 10:20:

Before starting Ranbir bashing...people should remember that Ranbir lives in India...and its a culture to live with one's parents if everything is OK...millions of Indians live with their parents life long...Its not America where kids are kicked out of their parent's home when they turn 18...kudos to people like Ranbir and Salman who live with their parents...no shame in that⭐️

Not a biggie, almost everyone in India lives with their family. Only irritating part is Rishi/Neetu not respecting their son and insulting all the ladies Ranbir goes out with. Gotto give your son some space.

Nothing wrong with living with your family.
it's a nice thing to be so family oriented, he is close to his parents.

They have been reinventing krishnaraj for some years, the new apartment does he have till the house gets ready.

Kudos to him. It's just me and my sister in my fam. No guys. My parents will always stay with one of us. They spend their entire lives after us, then what's wrong in living with them our entire life? America's culture is different than India's! So kudos to people like Ranbir. I hope he keeps his word though.

Who said you can't be close to your parents if you move out?
Once you are married you should move out unless you're financially not capable.

Grow Up?

He has his OWN FLOR in the house, he owns for himself, he is already a millionaire, achieved so much in his life: got awards, box office power, endorsements, fans and his own production house.

He is very much independent, just because you live with your family doesn't mean you are'nt mature/independent or and it's nothing to be ashamed of.
