I try very very hard to undesrtand Paro.sadly that is going down the drains.Female protagonist helping the male protagonist by doing something good for him so as to see him happy, regardless of the fact whenter she is happy or not is a tried and tested recipe and it is successful now as it is 20 years back.
Senseless thinking is the base for any indian serial.
so i am only sticking to shirtless rudra, some romantic scenes and ultimate conshumshun and after that I am gone.Don't want to see anymore.
ST is right sex sells.

Well this is an interesting philosophy I see having stemmed from the IPK forum...ofcourse you are all welcome to think that way but its' quite a sweeping generalization to presume there is nothing more to a show than that...if that is how you all want to view it, that's good for you.

But not every show is senseless and only to be viewed for shirtless or "romantic" scenes...I personally need a story or atleast one character with some sense to watch.

IPK was not a path breaking show accepted
out of curiosity which are these show that offer more the regular once
i find them all the same
unfortunately the media , actors , makers all perceive this industry that way , secondary mainly because its not able to attract the kind of audience that it should
its because except for a certain group , soaps in TV in spite of being such a strong medium is not able to attract other than regular audience
quality , or a game changer required
YRF tried this , to cater to men and younger crowd but was not successful
after all the industry has it all , big name like viacom 18 therefore big money
talented writers
if there were already some awesome shows ,then why this perception if its not a general trend and an isolated thing

Then I guess I"m not the "regular audience"...and frankly I'm happy not being that...success does not automatically guarantee quality...

LOL you claim to have watched Gulaal and you feel it was all the same...then I don't have anything else to say...enjoy the shows you watch.

gulaal was good especially keser dilemma well dealt with , i dont remember whether the show was a commercial success
but not a game changer

the premise was good , and they ended it without too much of drag better of the lot
enjoy the show that i watch lol , you are giving a lot of free advice today
success doesnt mean a better trp , what i mean is being inclusive , like movies having a wider group to watch the show

at the risk of sounding anti feminist , regular audience means women , because they cant sell cars or home ads to this regular group ,
therefore the stereotype , that the industry is not mainstream that its only for a certain target group , there fore limited popularity
that can only break when quality (not trp successful shows) that make sense to a wider group are telecast ed , thats when the industry will be taken seriously
which hasnt happened yet
