PaRud & Kisses

It's a hot afternnon back here at home, with garam garam hawa blowing, all I can say is that the

precap has left us all spell-bound.

Well, on one hand we might have all the FF/OS/SS writers really worried for a moment and thinking for a moment, how are they supposed to fit in an unexpected kiss like this into their respective, wonderful write-ups and the other hand, the VM makers jumping with joy and quickly shortlisting all the romantics songs that they can get their hands on, to come up with creative mash-ups!!

On a serious note, well Kiss (Hope I am allowed to use this term here) being the topic of discussion - we did get get to ogle on one while the much-awaited Jaipur track aired, it had all of us going dhak-dhak and soak in all the romance for that day and I believe for many more years to come.

With another one on it's way, it does look like the fans are definitely tuning in for unexpected and and memorable scenes that have the leads surpassing their best performances I must say, and that being one of the many reasons, has us glued to our screens these past few months.

A commom factor during both the kisses was the absence of promos which heightened the excitement while the actual sequence aired or in this case, will air. For regular viewers or non-IF members who skipped the SBS/SBB parts, it is a strong way to rope in audiences and keep them hooked.

My intention of this post is/was to compare or deduce a thing or two from the 2 kisses.

Well, with the first one being initiated by Rudra, he did know at that paticular moment, maybe not entirely in his senses, but deep down in his heart, about what he wanted, what he desired, and did not hold back.

He took a step forward and leaned in and did not hesitate to express his actual emotions and feelings. By then, like him and the viewers, we all couldn't deny the fact that the Major had whole-heartedly fallen in love and was ready to accept Paro as his wife, forgetting all abt his vachans.

Yes, some might disagree/argue, that there were multiple other instances, before this or after this, but I believe, that was a significant moment for this couple and allowed them to nuture their relationship and eventually bind them in a stronger manner.

Let's not forget Paro's reaction - hesitation. She knew what was expected from her, but still innocently placed her hand inbetween and had us all 🥺!!

She did what she felt was right at that moment, handled her gushing emotions. She knew she was madly in love with her Major Saab and was deep down happy to know that he acknowledged the same, even if not his senses (They both were a bit drunk).

Having known Rudra for quite some time then, she did expect him to shower his love in this manner and kindly accepted it and was in loss of words for his change in nature.

With being a kind natured person, she knew she had to wait and would reciprocate the same, some time later, but not at this delicate moment and her being familair with his straightforward nature, she held back, then being the receiver of the kiss.

What I liked about it was that he it was kind of expected, with the mood all set, them discussing their feelings and talking their hearts out, it had both of them react in a natural manner.

Their feelings being emoted and attraction moving to a new level, these were things they had an opportunity to explore in order to keep their relationship intact.

Moving on to the second kiss, which is yet to air but has been/is being replayed pretty much for the last 24 hrs, it is something which shows the development in the characters as well as their relationship.

Yes, this time it is definitely unexpected and is worth the wait. One can observe the change in dynamics between the couple.

Now, both Rudra and Paro, seem to acknowledge each other's presence without any hesitation, uneasiness, which is obvious to a certain extent, given the journey they have been through, in these last few weeks.

Yes, both Rudra and Paro are comfortable at an intimate level and are not shy/scared and do not make it awkward in any manner.

She has understood him, been with him through the thick and thin of time, and manages to comfort him, make him identify the right and wrong and is clearly helping him overcome his past.

Having known all his secrets, she is now more than ever proud to be the wife of Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat, knowing that he confesses, accepts his mistakes and ready to take an initiative to rectify his wrong-doings.

Now, Paro believes she has acquanited herself with her husband on a much deeper level and is able to surprise both herself and us and the, audiences. Be it the mooch chedne wala scene or the hug in the aangan or the much-awaited kiss/peck, she is ready to explore her martial side and fulfil both her duties as a wife and as a daughter in law.

Sharing and experienciing a comfort level with Rudra, she is now not hesitant to express her gratitude and is more than happy to see Major Saab get a shock. (Yup, his eyes popping is pretty much the highlight!!)

Yes, Rudra is a character that we can relate to and predict his actions/reactions to a certain extent after all these episodes, but after the lovely peck on his cheek, something that foreign to him, thus had him react in a surprised manner, yet in a natural manner.

He now needs to get habitual of this intimacy, after all marriage is the bond between two individuals, and till now he had a upper hand as far as affection was concerned.

His wife's forwardness and gesture of thank you may have taken him aback, but deep down this is something he had yearned for in a long time and is more than happy to be, the reciever, this time.

On a lighter note, Their relationship is now definitely heading to an exciting level, some may say, honeymoon type, but in the end, it is best if things were kept in the room and not in the aangan!!
