Okay on a serious note, I appreciate your interpretation although I've had issued with the Freudian theory for eternity. I believe it is a bit way too oversimplistic. So Oedipus Complex is not my cup of tea no matter how you present it. It's also interesting that your feminist spirit allowed you to endorse a Freudian view. I remember when I first expressed my distaste for this Oedipus Complex theory, my feminist professor remarked with something like "I know, Freud was a fool."
