The episode begins with Durga explaining to Goenkas that she tried her best to convince her dad but Dayal didn't agree and she leaves from there folding her hands while a victorious smirk is playing on her face as she turns her back on them. Shaurya is fuming and once Durga leaves from there he angrily yells at Dayal for talking to his parents so rashly. Sakshi is having a sceptical look on her face and Shaurya continues his rant and says who the hell is Dayal and he should taught a lesson to which Sakshi loses her temper and goes to slap him but seeing the cringed look on his face she stops and feels bad. Sakshi says what is the point in even hitting when he won't change and he will feel no difference. She tells him that because of him his dad's business deal was called off and he is the one getting angry for it but not feeling even little guilty about it. Sakshi adds that only his ego is hurt but he is not feeling ashamed of his deeds. Shaurya says that whether he has degree or not, he worked hard day and night to prepare a design and Raj snaps finally and yells at Shaurya that he had not prepared the design. Raj says that he got it done by experts to cover for him and Sakshi is shocked and Shaurya looks down. Sakshi asks him why is he bowing when it should be them. Sakshi asks him whether they had only given birth to him and she named him Shaurya hoping that he will become their pride but they have spoilt him with their love and everytime he made a mistake they pardoned him since he deserved another chance being a Goenka who was the future of a business empire. Sakshi says they didn't even wonder as to how he secured a gold medal being an average student. Raj says he got fake degrees, fake gold medals but what about the one he got when he was born which was the name 'Goenka' and he could withhold even its honor and because of him company is about to suffer, investors will turn their back on them, their shares will go down and their company will be blackmarked, all because of him and asks him if this is what he wanted and if he did he was successful and congratulates him. Raj regrets and says wish he had got a capable son and Shaurya is stunned. Raj walks away in anger and Shaurya asks Sakshi in frustration if she heard that as Sakshi too is sad. Shaurya mutters angrily that he is sorry for disappointing them but she knows his intentions were right and he wanted to prove to be a successful heir and tells her in a broken voice that his dad was wrong. Sakshi nods and says his dad is wrong so is she and only he hasn't made any mistake and begs him to do her a favor and become quiet as she doesn't want to talk. She also says she knows he can argue for two years to prove that he is right but she has limited energy that she can't spend on him as she needs to clean his dirt too since she is his mother and goes away sadly. Shaurya is agitated.
Dev is walking by a park and he sees a bench. He smiles seeing it and sits on it remembering his past moments. A flashback is shown where Nithya tells him that it should be her who is upset since he is going to US leaving her alone but he is sad. Dev snaps at her saying that he is sad as he is leaving her alone and Nithya says they have discussed it before also and she wants him to goto US, study and earn good name so that she can feel proud of him and write about his journey from India to US in her diary will get published one day and make him famous to which Dev gets angry and says she is always fooling around and is it possible for her to get serious. Just then a kulfi vendor passes by and Nithya excitedly buys two kulfis for them. She hands one to Dev and tells him to eat so that he will cool down and atleast she won't have to worry about his anger to which Dev says he can get angry in US also. Nithya says not possible as the weather in US is cooler than here and Dev mutters sarcastically that its very funny. Nithya asks him to not look morose on a day like this in a historical place when she will only be left with memories like having kulfi in this place. Dev smiles and takes the kulfi from Nithya. In present Dev takes a kulfi happily and when he breaks out of his trance he sees a kulfi vendor walk away and he stares at the kulfi lost in his thoughts.
Akash asks Raj as to how should they do damage control and their investors and board of directors are panicked and tells him that Shaurya's fake degree news has spread like wildfire and though Dayal has not formally terminated the contract but investors have queued up outside his home as anyone would want to get associated with such a project. Raj yells at him saying its enough and he didn't call him to give bad news. He adds that if his brain is not working then he should shut up and do as he says. Akash nods and asks him to contact Shaurya's friend, Karan's dad as his dad is minister. If fingers are pointed at Shaurya then even his dad will get into a tight spot and he will side with them. He asks Akash to change police report saying that Ganguly changed marks sheet to blackmail students later and that list had only their kids name. When a journalist got wind of this, they hacked into his system and asks Akash to establish that Shaurya's degree and medal are genuine and asks Akash to spend as much money as he wants. He says along with Shaurya's even his name is at stake and he wont let anything happen to his family name as long as he is alive and asks Akash to go quickly.
Dayal and Durga are trying to convince a hesitant Payal to have soup and at that moment Durga receives Akash's call. Akash tells her that the Goenkas have shaken up and they don't want press to know about their association with Ganguly and Durga says a fire lit up in Ganguly's home but Goenkas are feeling the heat. Akash says the best part will come when he won't do anything and their name and fame will come crumbling down in a second and Durga tells him no and says they are just getting cool off their heat and tells him not to snatch her happiness so soon and tells him to do as Raj asked him to else he and his profession will be in danger. She says let the fire spread on its own since as long as they will burn her Payal will get relief and keeps the phone down.
Sakshi is sad and asks Raj what was her mistake that she saved her son and covered up for his mistakes? She loves him so much that she expected he will change and which mother will not want to see her son earn so much name that she will feel proud but Shaurya raised her hopes when he decided to become chief architect but he doesn't want to see her proud and wants the world to know him as a loser and this is how he repaid her love and affection. She cries and Raj consoles her and tells her to have courage and says he understands her pain.
News channel is playing segment on Ganguly and about the fake degrees he secured and he throws the remote and yells angrily that these channels will garner TRPs by putting him down and curses Ganguly for taking him down along with himself. He says what was the need to have such sensitive data on his system. Karan asks him to calm down since his dad got a call and this matter will be resolved but its important they figure out who shot Ganguly's footage and who wants to see Ganguly destroyed and asks him if he noticed the line in the beginning of the presentation that one should repay for their deeds and what could be the meaning of it. Shaurya shouts what should he know about it and Karan both Tarun and Rishi are scared over it and they all feel next it could be their turn and someone is trying to take revenge on them. Shaurya asks if Nithya and her parents ghosts told him all this or if whether he showed his hand to Payal and she read his palmistry. He says if he likes horror movies so much he will ask Tarun's dad to make a horror movie with him as hero. Karan says they have have an enemy and why is he not understanding and Shaurya taunts him that this enemy should have a name. Could it Divya Bagchi or her old dad who are both dead and Karan says Dev.
Sonali is in a mall and Dev gives her a call. He asks her what is the noise all about and she says she is in a mall and she says she had come there to buy uniform for kids as Gautam doesn't do anything and Dev laughs and tells her not to scold his friend before him and asks her to give him one chance while she laughs. Dev is about to hang up as she is busy but Sonali asks him to say what he wanted to say. Dev says he studied the case and all the evidence is in Shaurya's favor and against Payal except for one which is Divya Bagchi. Sonali says this means if Divya had testified then maybe the verdict would have been something else and Dev replies affirmatively and says since that day both Divya and her dad are absconding. She asks him what is he trying to say and he replies that no one knows anything about them and two names have been prominently featured in news and they are Ganguly and Navin Mathur and they are both important part of this case. Sonali says they should investigate more and she feels someone is behind them and maybe its about revenge. Dev says he doesn't know about that and if two people who spoke in Shaurya's favor are in trouble then the person who speaks in Payal's favor is absent and this puzzle is twisted and they need time to solve it. And says they need to discuss this and Sonali says he can come over whenever he is free. Dev thanks her and keeps the phone. He thinks to himself that all this information is associated to Payal and Payal is associated with Durga and he thinks about the talk he had with Durga about Payal. He remembers his moments with Durga and realises she is the key to unlocking the past and wonders who she really is and remembers Durga saying she got to know all this from Nithya's diary and realises that is the key and thinks what is doing with her when he should have it and vows to get it from her?
Precap - Durga places her hand on Shaurya's shoulder and tells him it takes a lot of courage to admit the truth and appreciates him and Shaurya goes away happily.
