This is a really random and complete nonsensical post. Just that yesternight I finally found out the reason why I love her so.

Please don't think that I am some twisted sort of insaan who needs psychiatric help cuz I love a vitriolic personality like Mohini.

I will clarify soon.

Since the start of this serial, I have always had a fond place in my heart for almost every character. And an even special place for Mohini. In the start, her dialogues were what reeled me in. I mean, the way she taunts, the poor person wouldn't even know what is coming to him..

But when they mentioned that Mohini was Mala's sister, I was genuinely intrigued.

When Mala at Rudra's sangeet said "Jeeja", my intrigue became even more intense.

For Jeeja means older sister. And that meant that there was something really off such that things were this way.

I always imagined her having an inferiority complex where Mala was concerned, and kal finally when I was posting somewhere, I was reminded at the similarities she has with another such character I love.

Loki.

Yeah, please don't laugh.

It is just so blatantly obvious now.

She has been living in the shadow of her own little sister all her life.

He has been living in the shadow of his own little brother all his life.

All she wanted was for herself to be loved. To be revered. By her parents. By the society.

All he wanted was for himself to be loved. Exactly the same way.

When the time came, she was rejected and her little sister was chosen to rule the haveli.

When the time came, he was rejected and his brother was chosen to rule.

Even at times when she just spoke the truth, the bitterness of it made her an outsider, a villain.

The same is here. The bitter cold truth from him is never appreciated.

So, she turned to petty evil tricks. She hated everybody for existing. And all blood ties really didn't matter to her anymore.

He destroyed everything in its wake. Or moreover, he wanted to. He hates everything. And nothing matters anymore.

But when time comes, she uses her raw wounds, to her benefit. and you are left wondering whether how much truth was there in her voice. And even though you don't want to, your heart accepts the fact that there was some truth. That she isn't entirely wrong for being this way. And maybe you yourself wouldn't have fared better if put in the same condition.

And the same applies to his silver tongue. That ability of his to merge the truth with lies. That one cannot understand what side he is on. Whether to believe him or not. You know that some part of him is speaking the truth. But you are always afraid, always wary of trusting him.

So, she becomes The Queen of Deception.

So, he becomes The God of Deception.

And So, I love them both.

P.S. - Sorry for boring you. I told you at the start that this was a nonsensical post. I feel ashamed for even posting it. Bleh. Forgive Forgive pileej!

Senbonzakura, Ankiesa, take a bow! That was bloody brilliant. A perfect fit, a perfect match. A true con always uses the truth... But with a spin to their own advantage.
At the end of the day, who would you pick?
Dilsher, a drunk, arrogant fool, who grabbed on to decency with both hands when that defenceless helpless beautiful innocent face was thrown into his hands for protection by the son who called him by name?

Maala, the woman who never really thought for herself, an avatar of Paro who was fed poison instead of love after marriage?

Mohini, with that cavern of darkness inside her, like her nephew, that got so big and wide during her formative years that she was engulfed by it?

I believe that Paro, if unhappily married, would become like Mala over time. She is too young to have had life hit her with a sucker punch. True she got hit, but it was a tackle by Bholenaath through a BSD fella, by name Rudra Pratap Ranawat. And he was anything but poison... He was the life force, he made her wake up! He made her turn from a soft gentle wallflower, speaking pretty much to Bindi and Bholenath, into a cheerful, pretty butterfly, spinning webs of dreams, soft but very strong and resilient. He turned her capacity for love into a river, flowing in and a around him, engulfing him, eroding the stone that his heart had become! šŸ˜‰

All the above paragraphs speak the truth. All the above, except Paro have wreaked untold damage on their loved/hated ones... At least Mohini is a step better... She jacked up everyone she hated, but Dilsher and Mala jacked up the apple of their eye! Not counting when she threw Sumer under the bus, but she got him back! šŸ˜†

So yeah, in another post I mentioned the redemption of Mohini as a possibility, and I still stand by it!

What does your IF name mean? Dying to know! 😳

OF-sa! Thank you for a comment!

Your comment makes more sense than the stupid post I did. It was just that I was watching Loki scenes again and reading up and thats when I thought the charm of screwed up characters.

I for one, wouldn't pick anyone. For each and everyone is flawed in their own ways. Which is what makes up to the beauty of the story.

Redemption of every character in this series is both possible and impossible. Its the many turns that this story can take what makes me tune in at 9.30 everyday.

My IF name means A Thousand Cherry Blossoms.

It does actually.

She is flawless and seeps into the skin of Mohini. Rangrasiya has a brilliant cast. And Ananyaji is a gem!

Hi,
Its not nonsensical. Its awesome. I've always liked Loki.(Crazy...i know..)he is the interesting sibling. Thor is very 'bleh' for me.

Some goes here, Mohini is the evil one but she is thousand times more interesting than Mala.

No, not crazy. Loki is supposed to be loved. There is no other way he can be perceived. And I really actually thought that I was writing under the influence. So embarrassed I am of this post.

Thor is not bleh to me.. Actually, Chris Hemsworth is not bleh to me.. But yeah, Loki anyday more interesting.

And Mohini is what keeps you hooked. She has the power on you. Mala, sadly, doesn't.

Baisa,

You are welcome.😊 Do not be embarrassed. I loved your post. The way you connect these characters... Wow šŸ‘

Ohh... I agree Chris Hemsworth can never be bleh. In fact it would be a crime to put Hemsworth and bleh together in one sentence😳. The ancient viking god Thor is bleh to me. I prefer the mischievous and devious Loki.
You're right, Mohini is like a snake charmer. She hypnotises you with her acting. I hate the woman but i can never ignore her. Mala needs a valid story. Her relationship with Dilsher doesn't bother me but her desertion of her 13years old son bothers me.šŸ˜•

See I am an extremely flawed person who can only and mean only see black and white...there has been never any Grey for me. So it amazes and slightly awes me when people, like ur self can actually see and admire the beauty of grey. And that is Mohini...someone you would love to hate but at the same time end up feeling for her.
Very well written...you, Baisa have a magical way with words!

On a tottaly random note, my little one LOVES Loki...I know...
