Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty continues to dominate the box office as it grossed around 6.25-6.50 crore on Saturday to take its second weekend total to 10.50 crore nett. If the film follows the trend of last week it may hit 20 crore nett in its second weekend which will give it a shot at 100 crore nett it two weeks.

Fugly is poor as it could not grow on Sunday with collections coming in the 2.25 crore nett range taking its business to 4.50 crore nett in two days.

Saturday growth is a must for these types and that too big growth and as Fugly showed no growth its likely the film will not go anywhere as far as its box office is concerned.

Happy for Akki 👏 I enjoyed his acting in the movie.

It was a really good movie. Akki acting was amazing. Loved the movie. So it deserved all these numbers. I am very happy for akki 😊

Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty Week One Territorial Breakdown

Monday 16 June 2014 11.30 ISTHoliday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty grossed 68.32 crore nett in its first week. The collections were the 19th highest first week collections of all time and the second highest for an Akshay Kumar starrer after Rowdy Rathore.

The film set new first week records for an Akshay Kumar starrer in Delhi/UP, East Punjab, West Bengal and Orissa scoring over Rowdy Rathore in all four markets though by very small margins of 0-5%.

The film did good or decent business in every circuit with the best business coming n the Gujarat/Saurashtra belt as it went over 11 crore nett in the area and was 45% plus of the Mumbai circuit when the norm is 35-40%.

Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty has grossed 87 crore nett in ten days as the second weekend has added around 18.50 crore nett. The second week could hit 30 crore nett and take the film near the 100 crore nett mark.

The film is sure to be the highest grossing film of the year as though there is a heavy flow of releases from Friday onwards, it should manage to do around 10-15 crore nett to go a bit over the 110 crore nett mark.

If the film does manage to go 30 crore nett then it will join an elite list of 11 films which have managed this feat. Rowdy Rathore and Housefull 2 are two other Akshay Kumar starrers in the list.
