Can anyone tell me why kiku acts like Palak instead of himself?

Someone please explain to me why Kiku acts like his Avatar/Stage Name "Palak" on a dance reality show?!

I feel bad for him, because judges are constantly making fun of his character.. imagine having to dress up in shalwaar kameez,sports shoes,thick heavy make-up and a little girl's hairdo all the damn time!

Its like he is hiding his true identity.

Very bias of Colors team to approach him in such a manner whereby they tell him to roleplay his character and dance altogether.

I wonder if dressing up like a woman all the time has fully convinced him that he isn't a man at all despite being one.

I think he deserves an applaud for justifying his character.. but he should just appear as Kiku and leave his Palak identity back in the vanity van of CNWK

I think it's because of Colors as a channel- I'm pretty sure that's the angle they wanted to take. Just like how Ashish's intro had to have a part of "Rudra" mentioned.

Colors wants to constantly remind people that some of these contestants are a part of their channel outside of JDJ as well. Kiku as Palak and Ashish as Rudra.

For Kiku though it seems that CNWK has almost made Palak a bigger sensation than Kiku. Overall, it's an odd dichotomy.
