Can I just say that Beintehaa is TRULY DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER HINDI SOAP and that today's episode proved it.
When Suraiya blames Aliya for what happens to Usman...IN ANY OTHER SHOW, the husband would have misunderstood the wife and that would have been a lousy-two-week track.BUT, in Beintehaa, the story writers know that they're too good for that. Instead of making an easy u-turn like any show, they show maturity. They show that when Surraiya blames Aliya for the whole thing, Zain silently understands that his mother is too emotional to think rationally. Zain knows just how foolish it would be to blame the whole thing on Aliya.I can not stress how EASY it is to simply take the cliche u-turn and to be too lazy to care about the story's direction. The writers are not like that and I truly applaud them for that đBeintehaa is so mature and graceful... Have you noticed that their characters and relationships actually EVOLVE and GROW.Zain didn't just start following religion, religion seeped gracefully into his life.Zain didn't suddenly take his career seriously, he steadily gained motivation and purpose.Zain doesn't just suddenly stand-up for his wife, he slowly realizes his role and duty.Unlike other shows, where the couple goes up and down, up and down, and back to square one...Zain and Aliya go through a cycle in which they ACTUALLY PROGRESS.Their relationship actually STRENGTHENS...It's so so differently from what I am used to seeing in hindi shows...Hats off đ
