Reasons for Ahil-Sanam trip-dash-fall-lock

I just happened to catch some of last week's episodes. Not having watched Season 1 regularly, I was curious as to what was happening in Season 2.

And, I saw yet another trip-dash-fall-lock sequence between the leads. A sequence that had some here on IF questioning its timing and relevance given that the two have been sparring (well, at least until before Sanam dealt with the snake).

After the trip-dash-fall-lock sequence, Ahil searches for his mobile phone (he can't remember where it is and, to be fair to him, it could have fallen too when the two of them fell) and asks Sanam to dial his number. She dials his number only for them to realise that his phone is safe with him.

Now, the rational self in me thinks that the creatives had to introduce this sequence to lead to what we know is scheduled to happen next.

Reason # 1: That Ahil may be made aware of the fact that Sanam is heading out in the night with a bag in her hand and her mobile in her bag. He certainly does not have henchmen shadowing Sanam yet as his Badi Begum does.

Reason # 2: That Ahil's number may be the last number that Sanam has dialled from her phone.

Reason # 3: That Sanam may, accidentally or intentionally, dial the last-dialled number when she is in trouble.

Reason # 4: That Ahil may prove himself to be Sanam's hero, though not a superhero. He would have been the latter had it not been for the fact that it will be the mobile phone that will lead him to her whereabouts. And he certainly is not following his Badi Begum's nocturnal activities.

That's a really good post. Well thought upon, must say!
Even i was thinking upon 1 or 2 reasons from the listed ones. There must have been a reason to show that sequence. It should be!
Or else, as there are many illogical things happening, this may also be one of them, doesn't matter 😆

Back to it, yeah. This atleast would have made logic if any of these reasons are affecting that outcome.
And i also think, Aahil being frantic as shown in SBB, is the reason of him being drunk.

One more possibility i would like to add about this whole phone and last call fiasco, that - if the last call on Sanam's cell is Aahil's. he might become hero for her after saving her for that moment. Or else it could lead him to trouble too if the cops come into this and ask for the call records 😆 This might land Aahil into some trouble, and might create some misunderstandings too between Sanam-Aahil too😆
And it might be all Tannu's plan...who knows? 😆
Yeah, i am thinking too much, i know 😆

PS: I loved this last reason of yours 😆 So much, that it made me reply for the 2nd time 😆
"Superhero, if he would have followed nocturnal activities"🤣
I am still laughing😆

Prags, a Sherlock fan, eh? All your *thinking* leads me to the conclusion that you certainly do live up to the DP you have adopted!😆

Since I haven't watched much of the show, I am not as aware of the illogical scenes show. But, I can safely hazard a guess having watched some of the shows on Indian television.

Re the last call fiasco, I thought of that too. Hi-five. I discounted it only because we know that he will be the one rescuing her and I assumed that, even if the cops are involved, he wouldn't be a suspect. But, now you've got me thinking again. It is indeed possible for Sanam to jump to an assumption that Ahil is behind all this. After all, he is one person in the house, apart from the grandmother, who knew that she was heading out of the house. Enough ingredients for her to misunderstand him!

Re his frantic state, you're likely spot on. It's probably his intoxicated state that has him more frantic than he would have been had he been on guard. Of course, it could be that he doesn't want to lose the fearless snake-catcher in his employ. There could very well be more snakes roaming around the mansion and the courtyard.

And, of course, thanks for your lovely words of appreciation ... and the second post!

Yes! Sherlock!! Thank you for that 'thinking' compliment, being related to my favoriite sociopath 😆Because mostly i don't think specially in Indian dramas, coz they don't need it 🤣
This cop connection also came out just because of me being an avid fan of crime and investigation shows😆

And yes. There. You said all of that. Great minds think alike *high-five back*😆
Sanam has enough reasons to be suspicious about Aahil..err..her Jallaad Jinn 😆

She might also think (in context with the 'snake episode') just to prove the point that he is brave too, he sent those men first and then came to rescue her.😆 Because, though he had appreciated her, but being Aahil he might have not digested the fact that 'she' instead of 'him' was the real hero 😆
There. You've got me thinking again! 😆
Sometimes i think, how well i have been able to connect with these both minds 🤣

Nice post.
Reason 3 was the first thought that struck me too when the scene played out.
Ahil intoxicated, now his screaming in the graveyard makes sense. Only when he is not in full control of his senses, will the junoon take over. Other times, he is in control of his junoon.

Nice post, I think the phone connection was for Sanam's whereabouts and that may be Aahil doesn't have her number.
