I am not equating Sunny with them lol. Rather equating the plight of a prostitute to a respected A lister( call her X) who did the same things like sleep for money, involve in casting couch etc. Sunny doesn't get half the respect they get from society.

My question is simple. Sunny never abused her position like directors who involve in casting couch. Treat them with disdain first before jumping on Sunny. Get them out of the industry first. Also to actresses who sleeps with such people, stop judging Sunny 'cos you're mocking yourself. Its just your life is covered up well.

everyone is hypocrites in some way or the other...we are all human beings and its impossible to be objective abt everything...we have our own biases and react differently to the same situation with 2 different people in it depending on whom we like and dunt like...

tbh...i dunt really mind hypocricy too much in frivolous conversation or situations...i group it with human tendency...😆

ofcourse, if there is gross injustice or serious implications involved, then I find it disturbing...

but talking abt this forum, timepass ke liye...if we all go and read our posts over all the years of being here, everyone would reek of hypocricy...😆...its embarrassing but good fun...

They're not mocking themselves since having sex is not their ONLY profession. They sleep around for roles, but don't depend only on sex as a profession. I'm not defending sleeping for roles here though. However, we should excercise a bit caution here. Many actresses like Rekha, Neetu, Meenakshi S, Rani and Karishma got forced by their families into old geezers' beds against their wishes. It'd be unfair to call the likes of them hypocrites.

That's because you don't see Sunny as an actress right? Let's agree to disagree then. Baby Doll is made with the same intention as Chikni Chameli or any other sexy item numbers. There are many actresses who survive based on their looks and many talented actresses don't make it big 'cos they don't look great. At the end, BW cares only about money so you see all such contradictions. Some are treated with respect for doing same thing on screen while others aren't.

Yes, I do sympathize with Neetu, Rekha etc who came from tough circumstances. Those who forced them should be held responsible. Maybe its just me, I don't see consensual sex as a big deal. Rather have problem with people who abuse their position to get laid.

Consensual sex isn't a big deal to me either. Its the doing it for money and in public that my harping is on. Do whatever behind the screens, that's still not "po*n" no matter how ethically wrong it might be. I don't see her as an "actress" yet. I will when she starts doing serious roles.

Would you have same issues with an A list actress who slept with directors for roles despite having other options in life? Many do it just out of pure ambition and craving for fame.

In part, I will. In part, I won't. She wanted to be an actress. Wanted to take up a solid profession and not just having sex in exchange of money. I will disapprove of her sleeping for a role (except for exceptions like Neetu or Lolo), but still won't rate her in the same way as somebody who relies on public sex for money.
