Heyyy !! When you gonna update..

The days turned into weeks and Sanyukta and Randhir spent more time away from each other than with each other. There would be a few moments everyday where they tried to sneak in time, but with the pressure of final exams on their heads, they weren't able to have much time to themselves.

"We'll buy a house," Randhir said, one night, two days before their first final as they both lay down on his bed, gazing at the dark ceiling.

She snuggled closer to him, her hand in his. The serene moment was almost too much to bear. Everything just seemed so perfect this time around.

"Marriage first," she said, cutting him off.

Randhir chuckled and squeezed her hand affectionately. "Of course. We'll have a dog too."

"I don't want a dog," she said, brushing her lips over the skin of his neck.

"Alright, then we'll have five children."

"Five?" she asked, her eyes widening. "You've gone mental! Randhir, two."

Randhir gave a dissatisfied groan. "Fine."

She smiled softly at him and kissed his collarbone. "So should we get back to studying?"

"Studying? Sanyukta, we've barely been here five minutes."

"Randhir, five minutes is pushing it too," she said, sitting up.

She looked down at the still lying Randhir and bent over to kiss his lips. He pulled her down over him, holding her body close to his, not wanting to let go of her.

"Mmm stay here," he said against her lips.

She stroked his cheek gently from on top of him, and smiled, kissing his lips once more before getting up. "Self control Randhir!"

"I don't have that."

"Clearly," she giggled, picking up her bag and straightening her clothes. "We'll talk later. And... we have to think about how I can escape my wedding."

"We'll run away and get married," he suggested, causing her to laugh.

"I would be dead before our suhaagraat," she responded lightly.

She bent down and kissed his cheek before heading out the door, turning around one final time, "Goodbye Randhir!"

Randhir waved half-heartedly at Sanyukta as she left. He had no idea that this would be the last time in FITE he would have dreamed about the future with her in his arms, the last time he would hold her hand so lovingly.

The next day, Randhir tried to look for Sanyukta, but she was nowhere to be seen. She wasn't responding to his texts, nor was she at the girl's hostel when he visited. He even asked Kaustuki, but she claimed that she hadn't seen Sanyukta either. Randhir let it go, deciding that she wanted to do well on her exams and was cutting herself off from everyone in the process.

It was only after their first exam that he managed to catch up with Sanyukta. "Sanyukta!" he called out after her in the hallway, running up to her and grabbing her arm.

She turned around, dark circles under her eyes - it looked like she hadn't been sleeping.

"R - Randhir?" she asked, sounding shocked. "I need to study. Tomorrow we have another exam. I can't talk to you right now."

"But Sanyukta!" Randhir called out, exasperated, but she had already walked off.

Although Randhir felt slightly upset over Sanyukta's unusual behaviour, he brushed it off - the poor girl probably finally wanted to attain first rank. He chuckled to himself at the thought. She just needed to ask him, he would purposefully perform worse on his exams for her. Of course, he wouldn't do it with her knowledge though. Randhir smiled to himself. At the rate she was going, she would probably get first rank without him even trying - the last few days, Sanyukta seemed more focused than ever this time around.

Soon their last exam was over and Randhir caught up with Sanyukta right outside their examination hall.

"Sanyukta," he said, grabbing her hand to stop her from moving forward. He pulled her into an empty classroom and closed the door behind them.

"Randhir," she said, her eyes widening, sounding frightened.

She had even darker circles now, and looked paler than she had before. He touched her cheek lightly as she moved her face into his palm. "Randhir," she whispered again, tears prickling her eyes. "I - I need to tell you something."

"I know, I know, you're going to say that you want to sleep with me before your wedding... your wedding according to Sameer is tomorrow right?" he asked her lightly. "Don't worry, it won't happen."

Sanyukta took his hand off her face and held on to it tightly. "Randhir," she said again, a single teardrop escaping from her eye. "It isn't tomorrow. My parent's called and they said it's scheduled for next month. They want me to be there for the preparations."

"Perfect," Randhir said, moving closer to her as she moved back until she hit a wall. "Then we have plenty of time."

He moved closer to her, his lips about to touch hers when she turned her face and his lips landed on her cheek. Randhir was about to chuckle, when he realized that her behaviour wasn't normal.

"Sanyukta, don't you trust me?" he asked her, holding her hand and bringing it up to his lips to kiss it. As soon as her hands were on his lips though, he noticed the diamond ring on her finger.

"What's this?" he asked.

"Sameer... he proposed to me," she said fearfully. "And I told him I didn't want to marry him, but he made me wear it forcefully."

Randhir felt himself boil with anger. What was wrong with that Sameer?

He forcefully tried to remove the ring from Sanyukta's finger, but she stopped him.

"Why do you still have this on Sanyukta?" he asked her angrily.

"I... I love you Randhir," she told him honestly. "I really love you, but... but I can't be with you."

"Oh shut up Sanyukta," he said, grabbing her shoulders and pressing her against the wall. She continued to sob. "You can't be with anyone else. You can only be with me! Get the thought that you're going to get married out of your head! I won't let it happen."

"I know you won't let it happen Randhir," she said, bringing her hands up to cup his face. He relaxed under her touch.

She took her hands off his face immediately and brought it down. "I want to marry him though."

Randhir felt his whole body, from head to toe, boil with anger once again.

"Don't be stupid Sanyukta! I know you're saying this for your family."

She looked away from him and he watched as warm, fresh tears sprung from her eyes.

"No Randhir. I want to get married now."

"Then marry me now Sanyukta," Randhir said desperately, feeling his own eyes fill with tears. "I'll marry you right now. Come, we'll go to the temple and get married! Sanyukta you know I can't live without you."

"I can't imagine my whole life with you Randhir," she whispered, her tears falling from her face. "We always hated each other, we always wanted each other to suffer. How can we live together for our whole lives? We aren't compatible."

"Sanyukta... I will change. I promise, everything you want, I will give you. I can't see you with someone else. Sanyukta, I know he won't make you happy. I'll make you a queen, the happiest woman in the world." He started to choke on his tears, his heart hurting.

He could see her eyes search his, he could see the love and longing in her own eyes, the need to have him.

But she averted her gaze again.

"Randhir. I made my decision," she said firmly, "When he made me wear the ring... he, he kissed me."

Randhir's eyes widened as he let go of Sanyukta's shoulders and she stumbled backwards onto the wall.

"He did that to you?" Randhir growled angrily.

He was not going to spare that Sameer now.

"No. We did that," she corrected, looking at the ground. "I kissed him back Randhir. I kissed him back."

Then she ran out of the classroom sobbing as Randhir balled his hands into fists, anger shaking every cell in his body. He was shocked, he didn't know what just happened, all he knew was that he hated Sameer right now. And Sanyukta. Sanyukta Agarwal was just what he feared - someone who would end up hurting him. But still, he couldn't help but believe that she was lying - there was no way that she could have actually kissed Sameer. She hated Sameer.

As soon as he walked out of the classroom, he noticed Sameer, holding Sanyukta's - his Sanyukta's - hand and leading her towards the doors of FITE, presumably to take her with him. Randhir bolted towards the duo, grabbed Sanyukta's arm, turned her around and kissed her angrily on the lips one last time, claiming her mouth as his own. He could feel her lips twitch with longing - she wanted to respond to his kiss, she wanted to hold him and be with him, he knew it too, but she pushed him back.

"R - Randhir," she said, hoarsely, her eyes widening. "How dare you?" She grabbed Sameer's hand, who had been watching them in shock. "This is my fiance. I love him. I only love him."

"I'll send you to jail," Sameer warned Randhir as he pulled Sanyukta towards him.

She turned her puffy eyes away from Randhir, hiding the pain that she concealed in them. "No, no Sameer, these people don't deserve our attention. Let's go."

And with that, she left FITE and disappeared from Randhir's life for a long time.

After that moment, Randhir decided that he had enough - there was no way that he wanted a girl who didn't even have the guts to stand up for not only his love, but for her own love in front of others. He didn't want to be associated with Sanyukta, the coward. He hated her.

He told himself he hated her for a long time - and with time, he even believed that he did. It wasn't until they came face to face again a few years down the road, that he realized that his love for her hadn't gone anywhere.

This chapter was so intense yaar.

What has happened to Sanyukta! Why is she acting so cruelly with him? He didn't need that. He loves her so much. God. This makes me so upset. They have spent amazing times with each other and now...

GOD! WAIT! Sanyukta really didn't get kissed by Sameer did she? Oh no yaar! PLEASE NO! That just ruins it yaar. Part of me feels like Sandhir should have done it so that he wouldn't suffer so much later. But seeing at that moment and actually considering that this all happened after, they acted responsibly and I already told you that good job in making it real.

God, There is just too much suspense! Can't wait. AND IN SANYU'S PERSPECTIVE! WOAH! Can't wait! JALDI JALDI UPDATE KARO! :)
