ugh...can't believe i'm about to say this(with my dislike for ruquaiya) but -- the whole fake pregnancy track left behind a bad taste. how could a woman whose ability to be a mother was snatched, lie to her husband regarding the same? it was just so callous and insensitive. jalal, and jodha, seem more affected by this than ruquaiya which is so unrealistic. especially when you consider the time period and the fact that she is BEK. also it was a stupid plan and ruquaiya begum was anything but stupid.
i think CVs could/should have chosen a different outlet for the jodha-akbar-ruquiya triangle. is it really believable that the bright idea the woman that is able to beat brilliant strategist like akbar in chess can come up with is fake pregnancy??!

Yup. Had lot of expectations from this track. Well, it turned out to be a waste of time. They could have chosen a better track rather than further degrading Ruqaiyya's character.

She still has no regrets for her sin. 🥱

yes- absolutely a waste of time! ruquaiya is vain but she was also shown as a fair begum in the beginning. she'd have never done this. and now, knowing how much she's hurt jalal, she's shown without regrets 😕

why indeed! did they want to show how mahaan jodha is compared to others? but was it necessary to degrade ruquaiya to do that? to me, the track was more about ruquaiya being horrible than it was about how wonderful jodha is
