There is absolutely one thing that i really dont understand about these stupid serials. Why do they have to show women to be weak?? 😡 For instance today they showed poornima just crying and listening to everything that Ronits mum said! if that was me, i would have shouted at her so much that she wouldnt even be able to say a word back!!!! And why the hell did Poornima have to marry to survive? Cant a woman stay on her own two feet? They dont always need men to survive?

Sorry for da long post!! 😕

Yes I agree that too in Todays generation where women have proved to be able to do each and everything on their own it is a little strange how they show in serials that the females are so over dependent on the men. Plus they show all this happening in big cities like Mumbai and Delhi not some small place. I have my self lived in Mumbai and have seen how independent girls are in reality. No one needs a man to support or take care of them

I agree. It's really pathetic how the girls are shown in these soaps.😡 All of them are so weak at times that u feel like giving them the reality check. They really need to wake up and come back to this century. Women are much much stronger than these shows depict them as. After all we are the stronger sex in every sense. 😊

I totally agree!! But I guess we live in a world that was for most of the part dominated by men. But slowly things are changing.

You are so right! They are making Poornima look really hopeless right now and earlier, she tried to commit suicide because she couldn't marry Milind. I don't like her character very much- she is just too weak and really has no respect for HERSELF. But at least Pooja isn't shown as being that hopeless. She did not get her love, but at least she isn't trying to kill herself. Plus, Pooja has stood up against Maya Gujral instead of just listening to her trash talks.

I totally agree with u angel diya and others! This is why I prefer Jassi because she is prepared to stand on her own 2 feet. Besides when Poornima's father did not allow her to marry Milind, she was going to commit suicide but now shes agreed to marry another person! It doesnt make sense!
