Actress says Prachi should pad up
Actress Prachi Desai was recently in the news for getting miffed, for being asked to use silicone cups during the shoot of the item number for 'Ek Villian'. The creative team had asked her to pad up with silicone cups, which infuriated her completely. Not only did she refuse to wear any artificial enhancement and considered the request indecent, she locked herself in her vanity van and refused to do the song until and unless an apology was given to her. Marathi actresses react to the incident.

I feel that Prachi should have realised what would look good on camera. She shouldn't have given other people a chance to point it out. Considering my figure I was never required to pad up my breasts or butts artificially yet I carry a pair of padding with me while traveling for shoot or shows. You never know what the requirement of the role would be. There is nothing offensive in it. Normally girls do it. A lot of heroines use it during stage performances.

If they had done that before and later made changes then it is unprofessional. If they had not done a look test with her before then they should have communicated it to her properly. Often actresses use padding. It is not something unheard of. I personally haven't gone for artificial padding yet as I don't like it. I prefer the way I am. Let's not tamper with the nature.

It is very natural of her to get angry. This is offensive. Any girl would get angry as it is a personal remark. It is only in our country that people want the actress to be fuller in the item numbers. Across the globe even size zero is accepted. I hope things change here soon.
