We know our cast is supremely talented, given half decent material, they excel as in last Friday's episode.

Our CV's on the other hand, are down in the dumps. When you have to use the pregnancy theme for the 4th time in 8 months and if in every episode you need to show the lung capacity of Ruqaiya by having her scream and rant in every way imaginable, then obviously the CV's are bereft of ideas. Let's help them out, and if anyone from the serial comes to forums, as Paridhi says she does, then maybe this exercise may serve some purpose.

Idea 1-Sati

Akbar goes to war. Jodha is in Amer. News reaches Amer that Akbar has died in battle. Jodha decides to commit Sati. Actually the news is deliberately falsified by enemies of Jodha to force her to this step. Akbar is injured and being treated for wounds when he learns of Jodha's decision to committee Sati. He races to stop her and does so in the nick of time.

Idea 2- Fighting

Akbar is ill, almost comatose. There is confusion all about. His enemies decide to attack but they need to kill his heir, Salim first. Sharifuddin reaches Jodha's hojra, sword in hand. He has twin purpose in mind, killing Salim and getting Jodha. He is shocked to see Jodha ready and waiting, her face resolute. Sharif underestimates Jodha in the sword fight, makes some mistake and gets a hand chopped off. He screams in pain and runs off. Next scene, Akbar wakes and the empire is once again in control.

Any other ideas, folks!

Good one lovely idea, but there will be a bit of problem in executing first one coz akbar will be buried and the how jodha will go sati.

Great point, there is a slight technical problem here. But, Rajput women also committed Jauhar, there the dead body of the husband was not needed, it was assumed that he would fight to the death. Besides, there must be many instances in history where the body of the husband cannot be retrieved(the tragic death of Birbal is one example, his body was never recovered). That would not have stopped a wife from giving up her life, is she wanted too.

Wonderful thread. This one needs some really serious thought.

I would love to see some humor in JJ relationship and less formality now.

The scene on WA when JJ are visiting jail and the nok zok was very cute. Jodha asks Jalal to tell him about the hidden door and Jalal teases her saying why should he when she did not answer his question and Jodha's smile on that. I just love when Jalal is Teda and Jodha is teasing.

I wish Jajal starts calling Jodha instead of Jodha Begum and tum instead of aap.

I would really love if they show the Sikri track where Jodha and Jalal are dreaming about the city they want to build and their ideas about the Sultanate.

Yes, the CV's need to be creative. Repeating ideas when there are so many novel ideas to show is a waste of the talents of JA's impressive cast. Humor is needed, the formality needs to be discarded. Whenever, the CV's try something new, it is going to be a hit, like last Friday's episode. They need that, even Ruqaiya, if they show something different about her other than the usual ranting, it will be interesting.

I have an idea.

We all saw jealous (somewhat) Jodha before SR track. How about jealous Jalal now?

Also, completely agree with MaddyO. Jalal needs to start calling her Jodha, instead of Jodha Beghum. Their relationship is becoming easier and easier day by day. Why not introduce that bit of informality now?

One more thing, if they have to show repetitions in dialogs and tracks, why can't they have Jalal and Jodha do a sword fight now? During both the previous ones, Jodha was angry with Jalal. Now she's in love with him. The scene could have so many possibilities !!

my two cents..i want more of jalal and maha chuchak encounters as these two actors will burn the screen with their power packed performance..more of real politics..better executed romance and not half baked..and these days ruqlal scenes are taking the cake in terms of execution of the warmth of relationship..i want the 9 gems to be highlighted in upcoming episodes..and would not mind seeing caring jodha even when she accompanies him to wars..but the execution has to be proper when akhda scenes are shown!
