Urdu dramas are super helpful (and also soooper se oooper quality, most of the time, ha). Bhaabhi is from Pakistan, so is behnoi, but behnoi is very comfortable speaking in Punjabi, whereas bhaabhi will start off in Punjabi, get intimidated because she's surrounded by natives, and switch to Urdu as her default. 😆

My Hindi-Urdu was so bad that when I attempted when I was younger, I made Punjabi words sound Urdu by adding what I knew were Urdu endings, and the reactions I got from aunties was a mix of: 😕 and 😳 and 🤣.
