It's fiction so they had to come up with something, however, Mohini is not normal. Normal healthy people do not try to kill other people. This is way more than a grudge for her. Its a lifestyle. She is not exactly mentally balanced. She is suffering from some sort of psychosis. I am guessing she was not the most balanced young woman either and Dilsher probably saw that as well. She was probably just as cruel in her younger days.

Because of her greed, she wanted to marry Dilsher, nothing else, no love or attraction, pure greed! And when the wish wasn't fulfilled she took the alternate way and married Dilsher to take revenge on Mala and Dillu.

It is an odd thing for a grown woman to bring this up after some thirty odd years of marriage and three kids. I mean she brought up this topic very soon it is not like mala has been around even a day, it is like it was all fresh in her mind. But why the resentment still when technically mala did go on to ruin her life, she left her family, how she married second time is still in doubt but married she did but even that was a disaster as she picked the wrong guy. So if Mohini is as sadistic as she seems she should be laughing at the disaster in her sister's life whom she hates. But it seems like destroying Mala was never good enough for Mohini, the rejection and maybe even more deep seated jealousy tormented her all her life. That is why Mohini wanted them out of sight as she could not stand the humiliation of being second best. Dilsher and Rudra coming back was hard enough and we all wondered why is Mohini being so dumb about getting rid of them for a haveli they don't even want. It was never about the haveli as much about her being not good enough for Dilsher that is why she wanted to destroy him and wanted him and her son out of her sight. All KCM schemes were failing and she was building pressure but seein Mala too her source of her jealousy just made her blow.

It's not greed.. at least not initially.
Mohini is upset with Mala for saying Yes to Dilsher. If she had said no, she would've been okay. Hell, she would've been fine if she married Dilsher too, but Mala should not have asked for Danveer's alliance with Mohini. She could've talked to Mohini before hand PRIVATELY and asked her if she was okay with all of this. Still, it would've hurt Mohini but she could've said no privately and nobody would've known and it would not have been a big deal.

Every day, she would have to get up and see her sister married to the guy that rejected her. Not only that, but he was the boss of the house, while his younger brother, also known as her husband was the "servant".

While I agree, 28 years is a long time, her revenge was complete after they both left. She would've been satisfied too if they both hadn't come back. Now it's like her revenge is incomplete.

I'm not defending her, but I see where her pain is coming from. I have relatives where one girl got married to the brother of the guy who was going to marry her cousin-sister. The cousin did not show up to the wedding. It is not like there was an issue, I mean the cousin is happily married, but it would've been wierd and all (according to them) so I see that point of view too.

What irritates me is that I think Danveer already knew all of this. He might've helped her out too. Or maybe he found out after they left and that is why he kept Mala away... Either way, he needs to grow some and kick her out! Or at least knock some sense into her. Maybe move out or something/hospital. !

It could've been her idea. And even if it wasn't, when the proposal came, she could've talked to Mohini. In any case, Mohini blames Mala for it as she feels that it was her idea, therefore her revenge is complete as long as both of them are out of the house. But now they are "together" so that undo's her revenge.
