To all those who might get upset about this... I love Sanaya Irani.

Like I said, Paro is the only one making sense, because she is looking at the bigger picture. After coming back to the episode after a full day ... I realise that more and more.

Paro is not weaving any fantasies ... she's breaking the dream world Rudra has lived in for so long. Or rather ... she is breaking the nightmare world he has lived in ... a world where his mother never cared for him. It's like slicing open a wound to heal it ... it hurts initially, but it is essential to heal.

Hi Diya, lovely take as usual. You said it all about the episode, the story right now is very gripping and i'm enjoying it. Waiting to see how the Mala/Dil/Mohini backstory unfolds as it is the highpoint of the story and hope it paves way for increase in trps.
Ashish was very natural in first scene, Rudra's emotional outburst was well done, kudos to dialogue writers too.
Sanaya is doing awesome job of Paro stuck between the triad, Dil/Mala/Rudra. My fervent wish is cv's show a strong sensible Paro who can voice her emotions as is being done for Rudra's character and make full use of Sanaya's acting potential.
Hopefully today we'll get to see the aangan wala romance, btw i missed to mention Sanaya is quite a good hugger, the hug scene in this episode was nice though it was onesided.

Thanks, Malini ... I am enjoying the story as it is unfolding. I still have a gripe that the makers are not giving enough importance to the feelings of all the other characters ... Mala's feelings have not been well portrayed for one thing ... but I hope that as the track unfolds further, the cvs will make up those gaps.

Paro is currently playing counsellor and resident shrink to the Ranawat parivaar ... poor girl, she is in such a tough spot! Feel bad for her ... wonder when there will be a time when she receives the love and support she gives out to others so unconditionally. I guess she received it from Mala, hence her fierce loyalty towards her. Sanaya is dong an awesome job ... I feel for Paro!

Deeps ... did Mala stay away from Rudra for fifteen years on her own accord? We know now that she tried to take Rudra with her. We also know that she called Danveer a week later to find out how Rudra was. If she was thrown out, was alone and homeless, and she checked with Dilsher and found that Rudra was doing all right with his father, did she decide he might be better off with the rest of his family and his father, in a familiar home, than on the streets with a mother who couldn't support him? And we also know that she came back a month later to try to get him. We also know that Dilsher was incommunicando for fifteen years ... did Mala stay away, or did she try to trace Rudra and fail? We know that as soon as Rudra came back and Danveer informed Mala, she came to see Danveer and wanted to see Rudra.

That's why I say there are too many gaps in the story ... so far we have seen it only from Rudra's POV ... hence we look at Mala from his POV only. Paro is seeing Mala from her POV only ... she received nothing but love from Mala, so she cannot believe Mala can be a bad mother. And before knowing Mala's whole story, she is refusing to judge her.

As for being a good mother ... I loved LadyLala's post in FLS's thread, so paraphrasing from it ... see the way Paro the orphan has turned out, living without either of her real parents, but with the benefit of two loving foster parents, her mamisa and Mala ... and see the way Rudra has turned out, living with his real father ... and it is very clear who is the good parent here. If Mala wanted, she could have transferred some of her own bitterness and sorrow about her failed marriage, her lost son, on to Paro ... she did not. When a child is brought up by a single parent, it is the parent raising the child who is responsible for how he turns out, far more than the one who is absent.

Hmmm.. Lots to ponder.. When you put it that way, I got to agree she deserves a chance.. May be she's still in a shock over how things are just happening around her.. Or too embarassed to speak up.. Hope she does explain herself, sooner than later..
