1. Guys.. do you all remember along with me these lines which JALAL most frequently used to utter in D-E-K. So what happened today?
How come he can easily forgive Ruks? Is that because she is his childhood friend and BEK? Or is it that his favorite begum denied him from giving punishment?
2. "IN MUGHAL SULTANTE, VICTIMS OF A CRIME HAS THE RIGHT TO PUNISH THE CONVICTED"? I think is also retaliated by JALAL quite many times in D-E-K? Then why did JODHA take a decision on his behalf. JALAL is the victim here, his emotions were being played with, he was cheated, infact entire sultanate was cheated and IT SHOULD BE HE WHO DECIDES THE PUNISHMENT. Why didn't he explain the same to Jodha and shut her up?
3. "RUKAYYA BEGUM AISA KIYA KYUNKI WOH AAPSE PREM KARTE HAIN"? Gosh.. to hell with your analysis JOHDA.. How many times did Jalal tell Rukayya to just confront him if she has issues with him, instead of resorting to cheap tricks? If Rukayya REALLY loves him (I personally feel Ruks envy for JO is more than her love for JALAL), there are many other ways she can think of to get his time and attention. She can plan for a holiday, arrange for a chess game and ask 100 nights again like she did earlier, or straight way tell him that she is not getting the needed attention and she wants to be with him. She very well knew how desperate Jalal is to have a child, how broken he was while addressing the AWAM during JO's fake pregnancy, how shattered he was when Ruk had a MC and still SHE DID THAT. If you excuse it justifying in the name of love, EVERY CRIME IN MUGHAL SULTANATE IS LIABLE TO BE EXCUSED, because every criminal can justify their motive and defend themselves for the crime they committed. Every single person who'd been punished till date is righteous then, Bakshi, Sharifuddin, Adham, Maham, all the rajvanshi rajas, Abul Mali, Benazir, Zakira. But all of them received their punishment, though they were forgiven at a later point of time, THE ESSENCE IS THEY WERE ACTUALLY PUNISHED.
We want the same now. We expect JALAL to act on his own, punish Rukayya right away for her deeds. JODHA's bhashans and reasons to excuse could be given a consideration later.
