Khamma Ghani my Peeps!
Seems like I am on a roll..! Third post in three days!
^_^
Well, this post is not really much..
All I want to do is give a real big HUG and a really LOUD Shout-out to the Rangrasiya Team!
Everything from writing to acting... Literally everything was beyond brilliance today.
Rangrasiya is a rare breed of Indian Telly Show, where the pain, the grief, and the logic is palpable that it resonates inside the viewer.
Today when Rudra was screaming his guts out, it felt as if it was genuinely me, wanting answers as to why if it really was a pati-patni ke beech ki baat, his life was poisoned. What did he do wrong. He had no say in any matter whatsoever and both his mother and father kept on polluting him till there was no salvation.
When Paro presented her side of things, it felt enlightening. How two sides of a coin are so so contradictory yet belong to the same coin. She isn't wrong if she wants to support her own mother. And she isn't wrong if she wants to support her husband too while doing so.
And while all this was happening, I was delighted how they are presenting the Mala-Dilsher equation as well.
It is brilliant when the story is so interesting that you don't feel the need of forced romance.
Romance will happen. It has a habit of sneaking up on you in the most unexpected of places, or just being natural like breathing of sorts.
But what compels me, binds me to Rangrasiya is the brilliant pace and direction of the story.
Every dialogue is what I want it to be.. What I want to hear... (Yes, including Mohinis... I love that aurat too.)
So here is a big big thank you to the whole team for making me look forward to 9.30 PM...
Oh and before I forget, Dialogue writer-sa, I wish I could marry you or kiss those hands of yours that write the dialogues. Aap jee, kasam se brilliant ho..
