You are right. Even Ithought d same. First time when Malta saw Paro in d headquarter she should have reacted with a shock n a question that how she is alive. But may be CV's wanted to show that she was too tired n shocked of what happened with herself. But still that was a bad execution. They could have still am ended their mistake when Paro tells her that rudra is her husband.Malta could have asked that how u met him n howr u alive. But even here Malta is just shown to be happy that she is her daughter-in-law now.
The entire scene cant be related now

Very nice point... It seems that only Paro is trying her best to bridge the gap between the mother and the son... But Mala is so busy wallowing in self pity and guilt and not putting any effort to reconcile with her son... Also, she did say in an episode that she loves Tejawat more than her son and even mentioned that she left her home and her son for Tejawat... And if she loved Rudra so much, then why hasn't she mentioned about him to Tejawat until Rudra's marriage news came to her... She is not bothered about Paro and her marriage with Rudra... Not even once she has asked if she is happy in her life and how she escaped the near death experiences...Not bothered... She wasn't even that much concerned for Rudra's hurt until he blasted out at her and rejected her... Then she realized maybe she did wrong... I am unable to understand her character...

Yes, everything seems to revolve around Rudra and his life. That is not surprising as in most serials I have watched the focus shifts to the ML's home and domestic issues and how the FL deals with it. But even then someone from the heroine's family visits, her feelings are dealt with. Here when Mala who is from Paro's maiyka is not bothered to ask about her welfare. As someone pointed out, when Paro says she is married to Rudra, she is just happy that she got what she always wanted Paro as her dil. Atleast at this point she should have asked how did she end up married to a BSD officer as last Mala had heard she was killed by them. Mala is just not worth the trouble poor Paro is going to be put through.

I am feeling bad for both Paro and Rudra. They are both fighting over aa person who seems to care only about herself. Atleast Dilsher loves them enough to give their feelings more importance than his own.

Mala wants her old life back where she was loved by her son. She thinks by coming back she will be forgiven and all will be well. Not everyone is as magnanimous as Paro who doesn't realise that the woman she looked upto no longer cares about her.
