Ask her of how she got this acting opportunity in detail and she tells, "I finished my Mass Communication and had come to Mumbai for an audition for a popular Hindi news channel- the coordinator of audition simultaneously put my CVs across certain production houses. And luckily I got the break with Bandhan Saat Janmon Ka." So was acting on her mind? "Always found it interesting but, wasn't too sure as acting is a risky career so never had it as my career priority- but now that I have got this break- there won't be any other thing to look up at." Gungun's previous stints also included anchoring for a regional channel while she was staying in Delhi for a short-term course which reveals her love for camera!

Did Gungun do any special preparation before taking up the role? "Initially I was very nervous to play this role. Before this, I have played bubbly character and this is first time were I am playing mythological character, I had to develop my emotions in my character and also had to carry my costume." And how is it working with Ridhwana and B.K. Modi's production house? "Working with Ridhwana is great, she is a sweetheart for me, and she is the best producer, very helpful and understanding female."

This week, viewers will see Siddhartha mastering the art of meditation and becoming the favourite disciple of Alara Kalama (Arun Bali). This will disturb quite a few disciples, who will try their best to break his meditation, but all efforts will be in vain.

With high levels of concentration, Siddhartha will meditate non-stop for two days and will achieve the realm of limitless space, realm of limitless consciousness, and the realm of no materiality. Having got this, Siddhartha will move out of Alara's ashram in order to find the answer to pain and cycle of life and death.

On his way, Siddhartha will meet Bhimbisar who will be surprised to see the young lad as a sanyasi. Siddhartha will preach to Bhimbisar to not kill animals on the name of bali, as every animal born has a right to live. Bhimbisar will be so much impressed with Siddhartha's thoughts that he will take a promise from Siddhartha that he would impart knowledge to him once he achieves the path.

Sareeka to enter Maharana Pratap and Buddha
Sareeka Dhillon

Actress Sareeka Dhillon has her hands full with work. She will soon feature in three shows at a time.

Currently seen in Ekta Kapoor's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the actress has been signed on to play pivotal roles in historical shows Bharat Ka Veer Putra: Maharana Pratap and Buddha. Expectantly, Sareeka is excited about becoming part of the two shows.

While she will play Rani Veerbai Jhaala, who gets married to Maharana Uday Singh in Maharana Pratap, she will play Maanvika in Buddha. Says she, "Both the roles are very interesting and pivotal. The two kings will fight for me in Maharana Pratap as even Maaldev Rao wants to marry me, but I tie the knot with Maharana Uday eventually.

In Buddha, I will try to end my life after my husband leaves me to join Buddha. However, I will be saved by Devdutt, who will tell me to take revenge against Buddha." Well, this actress is certainly in demand.
